MLS Soccer Betting at BetDSI: Dallas vs Los Angeles
Friday, August 14th, 2015By Ej Garr
MLS Odds: The high-flying defending champion Los Angeles Galaxy make their final trip to Texas this season, as they take on FC Dallas for the second of three meetings in the regular season. The first meeting between the two teams was also played here at Toyota Stadium in early May. Dallas come out the victors after an 86th minute goal from Tesho Akindele that broke the 1 - 1 deadlock late in the match.
Despite only one win away from home this season, the Galaxy find themselves only two points behind the Vancouver Whitecaps for the Western Conference lead, although Dallas only trails last year’s MLS Cup winners by two points as well.
Los Angeles are winners of four of their last five league games. They picked up their first road win of the year on August 1 against Colorado at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.
With a much different lineup than we saw through the first half of the season, Los Angeles has a plethora of international talent now on the roster, with the final move being made when they brought in Giovani dos Santos before the close of the transfer window. The Galaxy has scored three or more goals in their last five games, outscoring their opponents 18 - 4 over that time.
In last weekend's 3 - 1 win over Seattle, the Sounders got on the board first in the opening minute of the game from a Chad Barrett goal, but Barrett blew a hamstring in the celebration and had to be removed from the game immediately after the goal.
The Galaxy put up three unanswered goals from three different players, as Giovani dos Santos picked up his first goal as a member of the Galaxy, with Zardes and Keane also finding the net in the win.
Dallas is among the best home teams in MLS, having an 8 - 2 - 1 record among five teams in the Western Conference with one or less losses in front of their own fans.
Dallas, who had their five-game win streak snapped last time out against Chicago, has had two weeks off to prepare for their match with the Galaxy. The Toros were seeking a team record sixth straight win, but came out flat while not putting a single shot on frame in the first half of action.
The Fire scored within the first five minutes of the outing from a David Accam goal, and put the game away in the 85th minute after a goal from Shaun Maloney.
Dallas will hit the road next weekend to face first place Vancouver, before returning home to face Real Salt Lake to close out the August schedule.

Quick Analysis & Prediction
We hope you enjoyed our fun-filled preview for the Galaxy / Sounders total in which we mentioned that the line setters crashed the car when they put out the -115 line on the Over 2.5. This weekend the adjustment was made to now see a -130 on this match to go Over the total.
The home team has scored no less than two goals in eight of the last nine meetings in the series, with the total coming in Over in the last five tilts between the teams.
The -130 price might not seem like a gift, so if you feel that you need to get a better price, simply move the line to 3 and take that Over at an extraordinary +135 or so, because three goals here at Toyota Stadium have a damn good likelihood of happening.
If you are unable to move the line and have to settle for the 2.5, that is no problem. Either way you attack this total, play it Over and take whatever it is you have to, because we will see three goals at the least in this game in our opinion.
