MLS Soccer Betting at BetDSI Colorado vs Houston
Friday, March 27th, 2015By Ej Garr
MLS Odds: Two clubs, who have been struggling to get results, face off at BBVA Compass StadiumSaturday. Colorado has yet to score a goal on the season through their first two matches of the season, but have also yet to surrender a goal themselves.
The Rapids have played two scoreless draws against two Eastern Conference squads out of the gate, one at home last weekend against New York City FC, and one in Philadelphia on opening weekend. They have four total shots on goal on the season, making it more than difficult on themselves and their hopes of denting the score board.
Houston has had similar issues offensively. They have a total of six shots on goal this year, although they do come off the 1 - 1 result with the defending champions LA Galaxy last weekend.
They found themselves down 1 - 0 against LA last weekend, when Robbie Keane found the net just three minutes into the game, but Tyler Deric once again did a great job keeping the ball out of the Houston net, but Houston rallied just eight minutes later to find the equalizer, and the match never really saw much after that.
The Galaxy controlled the second half entirely, with every statistic pointing in their favor, except of course the one stat that matters most, which is not being able to find the net at all.
Houston head coach Owen Coyle has been contemplating how to go about putting a squad together for this weekend since he will be without four players. Giles Barnes and defender Jermaine Taylor will be on international duty with Jamaica, and midfielders Luis Garrido and Boniek García will be playing with Honduras in their two-legged Gold Cup qualifying playoff against French Guiana.
Early season injuries are also leaving Ricardo Clark, Nathan Sturgis, DaMarcus Beasley and Raúl Rodríguez doubtful to be on the field this weekend.
Chandler Hoffman hopes that this is his opportunity to show why he is an asset to the club, having experienced a championship last year with the Los Angeles Galaxy.

Quick Analysis & Prediction Quick Analysis:
This is almost one of the easier predictions we can make this season, with two completely inept offenses on the same field. The line setters are telling us they see it the same way, with a -130 on the total 2.5 to stay under.
Clint Irwin and Tyler Deric will most likely be the two names that we hear most when this match is said and done and, once again, we expect a relatively slow and uneventful game to be played involving this Colorado team.
We would rather reduce the -130 juice on the Under 2.5 here, and just grab the handicap Under 2 and 2.5 to get +105 for our efforts. Even if we do see a 1 - 1 match here, we can still take home a little something for our efforts, so why settle for -130 when we don't have to?
There is no other play to make here, since we expect nothing to come out of this match but a point for each of them, in either a 0 - 0 or 1 - 1 type of match, unless you fancy draw bets which certainly has a bit of value at +245. That option is yours to decide, but as our main suggestion, the Under 2 and 2.5 makes our board in the last matchon Saturday's schedule.
