Spain La Liga Betting: It will take 4 days to cover the weekend in Spain, as we break down the 13th fixtures of the campaign.

We starton Fridayat Anoeta with Real Sociedad hosting Elche. Both teams sitting with 10 points in the table surely need a result to start the weekend. There are 4 matcheson Saturday, including Real Madrid traveling to Malaga and trying to keep their 2-point lead over Barcelona at the top of the table. Also Athletic Bilbao and Getafe meet to try and separate from the middle-of-the-pack and move closer towards the upper tier of the table.

On Sunday we have our featured match of the weekend and one of the 4 fixtures being played. Barcelona visits Valencia in a battle of two clubs in the top 4 of the table. Barcelona comes off a mid-week Champions League match in which Lionel Messi scored a hat trick and extended his lead of goals scored on the biggest European club stage we have. The weekend wraps upon Mondaywith Vallecano visiting Almeria.

Let’s get a little more in-depth and start breaking down the weekend in Spain.

Bet on La Liga at BetDSI

    Friday, November 28- 1 Match

    Elche vs Real Sociedad

    3-Way: 1: Elche +500 Away X: +285 Draw 2: Sociedad -160 Home

    Spread: Elche +1 -130 Sociedad -1 +110

    Total 2.5: Over +105 Under -125

    Analysis and Prediction:

Elche has given up a league-leading 24 goals this campaign, 15 of which have been allowed away from home. Be it as early as it is, both clubs need to start getting results, as they sit tied at 10 points hovering over the relegation zone.

Sociedad has been playing well recently, with a win over Atletico Madrid in the mix, and finding a result in 3 of their last 4. I will take a chance on some goal scoring here. The total to go Over is 2.5 and sits with a +105, and seems reasonable enough for me to get the weekend started.

    Saturday, November 29- 4 Matches

    Athletic Bilbao vs Getafe

    3-Way: 1: Bilbao +160 Away ; X: +215 Draw ; 2: Getafe +195 Home

Spread: Bilbao Pk -125 ; Getafe Pk +105

    Total 2: Over -120 ; Under +100

    Analysis and Prediction:

Two clubs sitting a point apart in the middle of the pack also needs to finish strong as we approach the holiday break. Bilbao has been doing just that of late, getting a result of some sort in 6 straight Primera matches. They are also coming off a Champions League winon Tuesday, with essentially only hopes to grab a Europa 3rd place spot there.

Getafe has looked pedestrian lately, and has not shown much consistency this campaign as a whole.

With expectation that Bilbao will continue their upward trend, I will take their 0/Pk Draw no Bet at -125 to once again come out of here with some type of result.

    Real Madrid vs Malaga

    3-Way: 1: Madrid -320 Away X: +465 Draw 2: Malaga +875 Home

    Spread: Madrid -1.5 -115 Malaga +1.5 -105

    Total 3.5: Over +120 Under -140

    Analysis and Prediction:

Actually, Malaga was the only other team besides Madrid that was riding a winning streak into last weekend. Madrid kept their end of the bargain, but Malaga let all three points go to Atletico Madrid to snap their winning streak at 5 matches.

We do not have the advantage of knowing how the Madrid match in Champions League resulted before handing in this preview, but we can only hope nothing changes on or off the pitch. Someone might be able to slow down the Madrid offense, but it is doubtful that Malaga will be one of the clubs who can do it, even at home. There is obviously no money to be made on the -320 3-Way, but the handicap of -1.5 on Real Madrid is a reasonable -115, and the Over 3.5 is an even more reasonable +120. Those two plays will suffice.

    Eibar vs Celta De Vigo

    3-Way: 1: Eibar +485 Away X: +290 Draw 2 Vigo -160 Home

    Spread: Eibar +1 -130 Vigo -1 +110

    Total 2.5: Over -120 Under +100

    Analysis and Prediction:

Celta De Vigo upset Barcelona 3 matches ago in Primera, and followed it up with two scoreless appearances against Granada and Vallecano. Talk about an identity crisis.Eibar has not stopped anyone all campaign, so let's see if Vigo can right the ship against a club they should be able to beat at home. Certainly not paying the -160, but I will play the -1 at +110, assuming they can win if to even push the action.

Bet on La Liga at BetDSI

    Levante vs Espanyol

    3-Way: 1: Levante +485 Away X: +260 Draw 2: Espanyol -145 Home

    Spread: Levante +0.5 +125 Espanyol -0.5 -145

    Total 2: Over -140 Under +120

    Analysis and Prediction:

It was seven matches ago since a Levante squad has kept a clean sheet, and they have overall been a sieve the entire campaign. They have let in 26 goals through 12 matches, which doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that 2+ goals a game on average won't see you winning many matches.

Espanyol has been playing just as poorly of late, so maybe one of these two can show up and find the net. The line setters are saying they will certainly find the net, with a -140 on the total Over, but do notice, that is a straight 2 on the board. This is where the handicaps are useful, because we should see a much better line on the 2 and 2.5 to go Over. Play the option with the better price, and take the 2 and 2.5 handicap Over.

    Sunday, November 30- 4 Matches

    Featured Match Barcelona vs Valencia

    3-Way 1x2 Lines:

    Barcelona -175

    Valencia +475

    Draw +330

    Spread:

    Barcelona -1 -115

    Valencia +1 -105

    Total 3:

    Over -115

    Under -105

    Analysis and Prediction:

Lionel Messi makes it look so easy. Once again, he scored 3 goals in Europe's Champions League mid-week, and they didn't even need Neymar to play one minute. It isn't even just Messi who makes it look easy, as this club as a whole is so methodical in their attack. You can see it coming from a mile away, and thereis still nothing that can be done to stop it.

Valencia has not been timid in finding the net this campaign either. They have scored 24 goals and have 24 points in the table, good for the 4 spot overall. We can imagine what goes through the line setters mind as they try to put a price on the total, and I don't think they thought it through enough. We have $15 worth of juice to drink on this Over 3, and if 2 - 1 is all they ask to at least give us our money back on the push, than I am more than happy to pay it. Over 3 is the play here.

    La Coruna vs Atletico Madrid

    3-Way: 1: Coruna +1450 Away ; X: +600 Draw ; 2: Atl Madrid -500 Home

    Spread: Coruna +2 -125 ; Atl Madrid -2 -105

    Total 3: Over +110 ; Under -130

Bet on La Liga at BetDSI

    Analysis and Prediction:

Personally, it is so hard for me to see a -2 handicap on the side and not assume we can see three goals along the way. It goes without saying what needs to happen to cash a -2 handicap play. Someone needs to win by at least 2 goals to get our money back, and they need to win by 3 to cash the ticket outright.

What is Coruna going to do to make Atletico Madrid look bad at home?

Not enough in my eyes, the Over 3 is my play with a lovely +110 to see it happen.

    Villareal vs Cordoba

    3-Way: 1: Villareal -110 Away X: +250 Draw 2: Cordoba +330 Home

    Spread: Villareal -0.5 -110 Cordoba +0.5 -110

    Total 2.5: Over +120 Under -140

    Analysis and Prediction:

We have one remaining winless club, and it comes in the form of Cordoba. I know the home/away discrepancy adds an element to betting on Spanish Football, but to see -110 for Valencia to simply win this match is mind blowing. If this match were at Valencia, we would have to pay through the wazoo to bet this club. Let's take advantage of the line setters giving an ounce of respect to Cordoba to show up, and take Villareal 3-Way at -110.

    Granada vs Sevilla

    3-Way: 1: Granada +650 Away X: +335 Draw 2: Sevilla -210 Home

    Spread: Granada +1 +110 Sevilla -1 -130

    Total 2.5: Over -120 Under +100

    Analysis and Prediction:

In my opinion, Sevilla is the worst of the best in Primera League. They sit in the 5th spot in the table, but are playing so poorly that I expect them to end up closer to the middle of the pack that with the elite.

The problem is, we can't play Granada away from home, and we might be barely able to play them anywhere. Six goals on the campaign is certainly not going to make any one afraid of you, and Granada can't expect to keep playing 0 - 0 matches gaining a point here and there.

I don't know why they are giving away the Under 2.5 at even money, but until we see something offensively happening here, there is no reason to expect 2 - 1 type matches.

    Monday, December 1 - 1Match

    Vallecano vs Almeria

    3-Way: 1: Vallecano +215 Away X: +235 Draw 2: Almeria +135 Home

Spread: Vallecano Pk +125 Almeria Pk -145

    Total 2.5: Over -110 Under -110

Bet on La Liga at BetDSI

    Analysis and Prediction:

Vallecano may not be winning many matches, but they are at least the team scoring goals of the two here. Almeria is not a club that has enough names upfront to put constant pressure on a defense, and they certainly are not putting up enough shots on a match-to-match basis to think things will change any time soon. Maybe they will address it after the holiday break, so until we see it happening, that Vallecano Pk at +125 sure seems to have a bit of value to me.

Hopefully it was a good way to end the weekend, with aMondayticket cashed at +125.
