    2015-Villarreal-vs-Celta-De-Vigo-Odds

Soccer Betting: As La Liga returns from their own international break and we enter Round 8 of the campaign, injuries and some surprises fill the news on the Spanish pitch. Villarreal is an unlikely points leader atop the Primera League table and El Madrigal is set to host a match that will play venue between Villarreal and Celta De Vigo. Celta De Vigo is enveloped in a three-way tie with Real Madrid and Barcelona, and has 15 points and not a loss to be found through seven rounds of La Liga action.

Real Madrid and Barcelona each have home matches among the fiveSaturdayaffairs that get the weekend started. To say they are strong favorites over Levante and Vallecano, respectively, would be a significant understatement.

Included with our featured on matchon Sunday are three other matches taking place before the round wraps up on Mondayat El Molinón, in a match where Granada will be attempting to get out of the La Liga basement against Gijon.

Let's run around the pitch, and see what we can expect around La Liga for the 8th round of the campaign.

    Saturday October 17- 5 Matches

    Real Madrid vs Levante

    3-Way: 1: Madrid -1010 Home ; X: +1010 Draw ; 2: Levante +2400 Away

    Spread: Madrid -2.5 -125 ; Levante +2.5 +105

    Total 3.5: Over -125 ; Under +105

    Analysis and Prediction:

Despite more injuries for Real Madrid, including the absence of Luca Modric and Karim Benzema and Pepe, Daniel Carvajal and James Rodriguez as questionable, Real Madrid are considerable favorites at Santiago Bernabéu this weekend against Levante.

With Gareth Bale getting back to full health now as well, the line setters obviously think that number 7 is all you need to hit totals of 3.5 and -2.5 handicap lines.

Amazingly, Levante upset Villarreal last time out to pick up their first win of the campaign. Villarreal is leading La Liga with 16 points in the big boy position of the table through seven rounds of league play. That is what the phrase 'Any Given Day' looks like, as Villarreal had not lost through the first six matches, and Levante was obviously looking for their first win as a +340 underdog at home.

Now we see a +2400 outrageous price on Levante, after they just took out the current league leaders last time out.

Let's see if this gives Levante some momentum. Toss in the +2.5 handicap offer on Levante at +105 and be hopeful for a 3 - 1 type of match that doesn't get out of hand.

    Barcelona vs Vallecano

    3-Way: 1: Barcelona -565 Home ; X: +670 Draw ; 2: Vallecano +1565 Away

    Spread: Barcelona -2.5 +100 ; Vallecano +2.5 -120

    Total 3.5: Over -135 ; Under +115

Bet on La Liga at BetDSI

    Analysis and Prediction:

Barcelona also comes in heavily favored at -565, with Vallecano getting the good old insulting +1565 line in expectations of three points for the road side.

Of course, we know that Messi will be sitting in the crowd for this affair with his injury, and Luis Suarez and Andres Iniesta will also be sidelined for the defending champions at Camp Nou.

Barcelona has lost two of their last three league outings, and only has a 2 - 1 win over Las Palmas sandwiched between the two losses to their credit since the Messi injury.

Rayo Vallecano put up 23 shots in their 2 - 0 loss to Betis last time out, and were simply unlucky while coming close to finding the net on a few occasions.

Barcelona has to look a lot more convincing before we lay a -2.5 handicap in their favor, we are suggesting the +2.5 with Vallecano at -120.

    Betis vs Espanyol

    3-Way: 1: Betis +105 Home ; X: +235 Draw ; 2: Espanyol +285 Away

    Spread: Betis -0.5 +105 ; Espanyol +0.5 -125

    Total 2.5: Over +115 ; Under -135

Bet on La Liga at BetDSI

    Analysis and Prediction:

As we mentioned, Betis comes off their 2 - 0 win over Vallecano and the first goal by Heiko Westermann was a classic transition goal that started with a steal by Westermann on the defensive end of the pitch. Westermann created the goal after the steal, as he raced to midfield with possession, and made one perfect outlet pass to Castro on the right wing. Castro found a streaking Westermann alone just inside the 18-yard box as he continued his run, and made no mistake sliding the ball past keeper Toño.

Espanyol has lost two straight outings, and has allowed a league high 16 goals through the first seven rounds of the campaign.

Trying to assume what the line setters see that would make us shy away from the +115 on the Over 2.5 is the question we have, because we certainly expect goals to be scored at Benito Villamarin.

Expect goals, and cash those tickets on the Over 2.5.

    Valencia vs Malaga

    3-Way: 1: Valencia -170 Home ; X: +300 Draw ; 2: Malaga +525 Away

    Spread: Valencia -1 +100 ; Malaga +1 -120

    Total 2.5: Over +105 ; Under -125

    Analysis and Prediction:

Valencia keeper Mat Ryan suffered a recent setback in his attempts to get back in the starting 11, and he will likely be missing more time for the near future.

Diego Alves still sidelined will keepJaume Domènech in net with not much experience at this level of football.

It was a bit evident in their recent 3 - 1 loss to Athletic Bilbao thatDomènechneeds to improve if Valencia plan on staying in the upper half of the table as we approach the quarter mark of the campaign.

Malaga picked up their first win of the campaign last time out against Real Sociedad, while also scoring their first three goals of the year as well.

Now that we have seen a spark from Malaga, and having no faith inDomènech in top flight, we offer this Over 2.5 at +105.

    Eibar vs Sevilla

    3-Way: 1: Eibar +245 Home ; X: +245 Draw ; 2: Sevilla +115 Away

    Spread: Eibar +0.5 -135 ; Sevilla -0.5 +115

    Total 2.5: Over +105 ; Under -125

    Analysis and Prediction:

After taking the Europa League title last year, a lot was expected from Sevilla in both their European and domestic campaigns this season.

After a slow start, Sevilla now has two wins under their belts in league play, but will be facing a tough task in their Champions League matchday three encounter with Manchester City thiscoming Wednesdayin England.

Eibar has certainly gotten off to a decent start to the campaign after barely surviving relegation a year ago, although they did get some help to stay in top flight as we know.

With results in four of their last five outings, one of which includes a draw with Celta De Vigo who have played extremely well as we know out of the gate, Eibar doesn't look much like the team we faded weekend after weekend a year ago here at BetDSI.

We suggest this Over 2.5 at another lovely +105 on the action, adding to our list of value plays offered thus far in the previews.

    Sunday October 18- 4 Matches

Featured Match Villarreal vs Celta De Vigo

    3-Way 1x2 Lines:

    Villarreal +105

    Vigo +255

    Draw +255

    Spread:

    Villarreal -0.5 +105

    Vigo +0.5 -125

    Total 2.5:

    Over-120

    Under +100

    Analysis and Prediction:

Villarreal was cruising into their last match with a struggling Levante, but amazingly they just couldn't find the net in their 1 - 0 loss, and now need to regroup if they plan on keeping pace with the Madrids and Barcelonas of the world in the long run.

Villa will also be competingthis Thursdayin their matchday three of Europa League group stage, as they look to improve on their second place status in group E with a home match against last place Dinamo Minsk.

We certainly expected a different result from the scoreless draw from Vigo last time out against Getafe at home, as they had us convinced that they were going to stomp the yard with the Blues. Vigo did manage to remain without a loss in this year's campaign, however, which has them with 15 points alongside both Real Madrid and Barcelona tied for second place as we enter the round.

We offer the home side 3-Way line in this contest, expecting a Villarreal 2 - 0 win that helps us cash the +105 action.

Dep La Coruna vs Athletic Bilbao

    3-Way: 1: Deportivo +165 Home ; X: +215 Draw ; 2: Bilbao +195 Away

Spread: Deportivo Pk -115 ; Bilbao Pk -105

    Total 2: Over -135 ; Under +115

    Analysis and Prediction:

Athletic Bilbao has been miserable on the road since the beginning of the pre-season, as they have now gone 10 outings without a win in their friendlies, league matches and European club campaign.

Bilbao will again be on the roadon Thursdaywhen they face Partizan in Serbia, while hoping to build on their Europa League group L status with three points through two rounds entering matchday three.

Deportivo is one of five clubs with one or less losses this year in league play, and are coming off their 1 - 1 draw with Granada in which they gave away a 1 - 0 lead just after the hour mark of the match after scoring in the 25th minute.

Neither Deportivo nor Granada seemed to want the other two remaining points, as only one shot was taken on goal after the match was brought level at one.

Bilbao is a mess when they leave San Mames, so we suggest the Pk Draw no Bet action on the home side at a pretty reasonable -115.

    Getafe vs Las Palmas

    3-Way: 1: Getafe +115 Home ; X: +235 Draw ; 2: Palmas +270 Away

    Spread: Getafe -0.5 +115 ; Palmas +0.5 -135

    Total 2.5: Over +130 ; Under -155

    Analysis and Prediction:

Las Palmas has not shown us that they are going to be around long in top flight Spanish football, managing one win on the campaign against a struggling Sevilla who got off to a terrible start to their own campaign.

To their credit, however, the three matches they have played away from Gran Canaria have been against Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Celta De Vigo, who make up three of the top five clubs in the table.

Getafe hasn't done all that much better with only seven points in the bottom portion of the table, still looking for their first away win of the year.We did see a decent performance from Getafe in their scoreless draw with Celta De Vigo last time out, despite not putting up a single shot on frame in the first half. Vigo certainly controlled the stats, but were simply unable to find the net in 18 shot attempts taken.

Hoping to avoid a similar scoreless draw, we suggest a play on the +115 3-Way action with Getafe at home, hopeful that they can improve on their two home wins this year, while gaining some experience from their last outing against Vigo.

    Real Sociedad vs Atletico Madrid

    3-Way: 1: Sociedad +315 Home ; X: +225 Draw ; 2: Atletico +105 Away

    Spread: Sociedad +0.5 -125 ; Atletico -0.5 +105

    Total 2: Over -110 ; Under -110

    Analysis and Prediction:

This will not be one of those times we see an all-too-familiar 1 - 0 or 2 - 0 result in favor of Atletico, as we expect a bit of a breakout from the capital side away from home this weekend.

We still have not seen this Atletico side break out for more than two goals since the second round against Sevilla, but we see this going differently.

Sociedad will be scoring this weekend, and we see this Over 2 as an easy opportunity to see a goal from each club at the very worst to push this action on the Over 2 at -110.

We see that third goal coming this weekend that will put it over the number, and help us cash a ticket on this total to go Over.

    Monday October 19- 1 Match

    Gijon vs Granada

    3-Way: 1: Gijon +105 Home ; X: +215 Draw ; 2: Granada +315 Away

    Spread: Gijon -0.5 +105 ; Granada +0.5 -125

    Total 2: Over -120 ; Under +100

Bet on La Liga at BetDSI

    Analysis and Prediction:

Gijon is one of three remaining clubs to have not found a home win this campaign, along with both Real Sociedad and this Granada team they are facing this weekend at El Molinón.

Granada hasn't been doing much winning at all in their first year in top flight, and they have been outscored 9 - 2 over their current five-match stretch without a win.

Pretty amazing that Granada picked up their second half goal against Deportivo on their only shot on goal in the final 45 minutes of the match.

We end our weekend previews in La Liga with a play on this Under 2 at +100, expecting a scoreless draw or a 1 - 0 affair to take place in this contest.
