Soccer Betting: With the anticipated Madrid derby highlighting the seventh round of the La Liga campaign, the fans at Vicente Calderón hope to help Atletico Madrid hand Real Madrid their first loss of the year. As Ronaldo continues to set club records in both La Liga and Champions League, his efforts helped Real Madrid roll over Malmo this week in their matchday two encounter, while Atletico lost at home to Benfica in their group stage outing.

Villarreal continues to sit atop the table after their weekend win over Atletico at El Madrigal, while leading Barcelona by a single point as we enter the weekend. The Yellow Submarine will be facing aThursdaymatchday two outing with Viktoria Plzen in their Europa League campaign, and will head to Ciutat de València to take on Levanteon Sunday.

Barcelona managed to win their Champions League affair this week, in their first start without Lionel Messi on the pitch. Luis Suarez led the way with the game-winning goal, as the Blaugrana escaped their match with Bayer Leverkusen after going down 1 - 0 early to the German side.

We get startedon Fridaywith Celta De Vigo looking to remain undefeated, as they host Getafe at Balaidos, so let's get to the action around La Liga, and see what we have in store to offer our loyal readers this weekend.

    Friday October 2- 1 Match

    Celta De Vigo vs Getafe

    3-Way: 1: Vigo -190 Home ; X: +345 Draw ; 2: Getafe +525 Away

    Spread: Vigo -1 -120 ; Getafe +1 +100

    Total 2.5: Over -120 ; Under +100

    Analysis and Prediction:

Well, it was almost expected to happen, as Celta De Vigo picked up a huge win over Barcelona, only to find themselves settling for a draw last weekend with Eibar.

After their big win over the defending champions, Vigo looked like a club who thought a win would just be handed to them, but Eibar had different ideas. Eibar scored just three minutes into the match, and it took Vigo 73 minutes to respond with their equalizer that came in the 76th minute of the outing.

There was no celebration, and although they managed a point in the outing, when you beat Barcelona and draw with Eibar the next time out, there isn't much else to say.

Getafe picked up their second win of the year last weekend in a convincing 3 - 0 win over Levante, although it was only convincing on the scoreboard. It took 81 minutes to score the first goal, and two extra time goals came from two defensive breakdowns late in the match.

Vigo should have a cake walk at home, so the Over 2.5 and the -1 handicap both at -120 go on the board to get our weekend started with two cashed tickets.

    Saturday October 3 - 5Matches

    Granada vs Dep La Coruna

    3-Way: 1: Granada +160 Home ; X: +220 Draw ; 2: Deportivo +190 Away

Spread: Granada Pk -125 ; Deportivo Pk +105

    Total 2: Over -120 ; Under +100

    Analysis and Prediction:

We've seen at least three goals in Deportivo's last four outings, and Granada couldn't stop a medicine ball from finding their net, so what do the line setters do?

Offer a straight 2 on the total!

Is this a joke or a trap?

Let's go with joke, as we will certainly jump on this Over 2 at a semi-reasonable -120, with no further analysis needed.

    Malaga vs Real Sociedad

    3-Way: 1: Malaga +135 Home ; X: +225 Draw ; 2: Sociedad +225 Away

Spread: Malaga Pk -150 ; Sociedad Pk +130

    Total 2: Over -135 ; Under +115

Bet on La Liga at BetDSI

    Analysis and Prediction:

Even after Nordin Amrabat picked up a red card in the 77th minute of their outing against Real Madrid last weekend, Malaga still managed to keep the game scoreless while taking a point in a match that not too many of us predicted we would see.

At the same token, it was the only way that Malaga could find a point because through six league fixtures, they have yet to score a goal.

Let's just cut to the chase, and throw down the Sociedad Pk at +130. At last we checked, if you can't score, you can't take three points no matter where the match is being played/

    Sevilla vs Barcelona

    3-Way: 1: Sevilla +265 Home ; X: +265 Draw ; 2: Barcelona +105 Away

    Spread: Sevilla +0.5 -125 ; Barcelona -0.5 +105

    Total 2.5: Over -140 ; Under +120

    Analysis and Prediction:

Sevilla tried to relive their success at Juventus Stadium when they took home the Europa League title there a season ago, but this past Wednesday, Juventus was the club standing in their way to contest their Champions League group stage affair.

Juventus came away with a rather convincing 2 - 0 win, holding Sevilla to a single shot on goal that posed no threat whatsoever for Gigi Buffon.

Barcelona had to start their first match without Lionel Messi in their Champions League outingon Tuesday, and after going down 1 - 0 to Leverkusen early in the match, the Spanish champions came away with a 2 - 1 win to take the lead in Group E with four points through two outings.

We are going to offer the Barca 3-Way line at +105 in this one, because Sevilla is not even close to the club that won Europa League last year, and even without Messi, there is enough in place for Barcelona to get results against weak opponents, home or away.

    Espanyol vs Gijon

    3-Way: 1: Espanyol -105 Home ; X: +240 Draw ; 2: Gijon +325 Away

    Spread: Espanyol -0.5 -105 ; Gijon +0.5 -115

    Total 2: Over -135 ; Under +115

    Analysis and Prediction:

Espanyol has three wins and three losses in the campaign, and their three wins have come by one goal, while their three losses has seen them destroyed. They've been outscored 12 - 1 in their three defeats, and have played to a 1 - 0 result twice with a 3 - 2 win accounted for the third win.

Gijon helped us cash a nice total with Betis last weekend. If you recall, we lifted the total to the Over 2 and 2.5 handicap instead of settling for the straight 2, which worked out nicely for us.

We are suggesting a similar option here, and moving this total to the Over 2 and 2.5 handicap line at +110, instead of again letting the line setters make us settle for a -135 on the straight 2.

    Las Palmas vs Eibar

    3-Way: 1: Palmas +110 Home ; X: +230 Draw ; 2: Eibar +280 Away

    Spread: Palmas -0.5 +110 ; Eibar +0.5 -130

    Total 2: Over -125 ; Under +105

    Analysis and Prediction:

Las Palmas is looking for consecutive home victories after taking out Sevilla the last time they were at Gran Canaria.Of course, the big news that came from their last affair with Barcelona, was the injury to Lionel Messi, who had to exit the match at the 10 minute mark, which we know will cost Messi some time off the pitch.

Eibar has actually taken three results in their three away matches in league play, and so far really don't resemble the club they were a year ago in their first year back in top flight, after almost being demoted right back to Segunda Division.

We expect a low-scoring match with the potential for a 1 - 1 draw, so we are suggesting the Under 2.5 with the +105 on the action.

    Analysis and Prediction:

Since September, 2013, Atletico and Real Madrid have met 13 times between all competitions, scattered through La Liga, the Copa Del Rey, the Spanish Super Cup and Champions League.

Both clubs faced mid-week Champions League matchday two outings, with Atletico losing at home to Benfica 2 - 1 in their Group C battle, while Real saw Ronaldo set the all-time Champions League scoring record, to go along with scoring his 500th goal in his career.

As Real Madrid entered their Group A encounter with Swedish side Malmo at Santiago Bernabéu, Ronaldo needed one goal to reach the 500 milestone, and two goals to tie legendary Raul's all-time Madrid scoring record. He scored twice, and is now in position to blow away the record books and set marks of his own.

Atletico lost to league leaders Villarreal 1 - 0 last weekend at El Madrigal, and now carry a two-game slide in to this weekend's derby.

With Atletico still struggling to find the net as they have all season thus far, coming out of the derby with a result, even if they are home, is not something we expect to see.

We are offering the Real Madrid Pk action at -125, simply because of the offensive ability that Real has, as they are also likely to get Gareth Bale back this weekend.

    Athletic Bilbao vs Valencia

    3-Way: 1: Bilbao +135 Home ; X: +230 Draw ; 2: Valencia +220 Away

Spread: Bilbao Pk -145 ; Valencia Pk +125

    Total 2: Over -140 ; Under +120

    Analysis and Prediction:

As you look over the stats from Valencia's 1 - 0 win over Granada last weekend, you would think that Granada should have come away with a better result, having most of the stats in their favor.

Of course once again though, the only stat that matters is the scoreboard, so Valencia can now hope to build on their second win of the campaign.

So much was expected from Bilbao after their Super Cup defeat of Barcelona, and they are doing well in their European campaign, but it has not translated to results in La Liga thus far.

Valencia's defense has been their story so far, but their offense has struggled to make up the difference, only having two goals scored through the first six outings in league play.

We are offering the Valencia Pk with a nice line of +125 attached to the action, especially after going to France this week and taking out Lyon 1 - 0 in their Champions League affair.

    Rayo Vallecano vs Betis

    3-Way: 1: Vallecano +120 Home ; X: +260 Draw ; 2: Betis +225 Away

    Spread: Vallecano -0.5 +120 ; Betis +0.5 -140

    Total 3: Over +110 ; Under -130

    Analysis and Prediction:

Vallecano gave Sevilla their first win of the campaign last weekend, while Betis came away with a nice 2 - 1 over Gijon in comeback fashion.

Vallecano saw two first half goals send them to a 2 - 0 halftime deficit, but made a valiant effort to level the match just before the 70th minute of play. Sevilla scored just four minutes from time, rebounding to get their first win of the season.

Betis also found themselves down 1 - 0 early in their match with Gijon, but two second half goals from Joaquin and Castro helped them take three points away from home to carry in to this weekend.

It is definitely strange to see a total of 3, and see a -130 to have it stay Under the number.

The Betis +0.5 is also sitting at an uncomfortable -140, so that is too out of range for a suggestion.

We will suggest the Over 3 at +110 here with a 2 - 1 score not being the worst result we could see. We may push the action, but we do see at least the three goals coming to fruition.

    Levante vs Villarreal

    3-Way: 1: Levante +340 Home ; X: +245 Draw ; 2: Villarreal -110 Away

    Spread: Levante +0.5 -110 ; Villarreal -0.5 -110

    Total 2.5: Over +120 ; Under -140

Bet on La Liga at BetDSI

    Analysis and Prediction:

Villarreal will be playingon Thursdayin their Europa League group stage encounter with PAOK, and we will not have that result upon submitting this article.

Levante couldn't stop any 10 men we could find on the streets of Valencia from scoring at least two goals, so why the line setters are pointing to an under here is beyond us.

At +120, there is nothing better to offer here than this total to go Over the 2.5, easily expecting the three goals we need to cash our tickets.
