Soccer Betting: The fourth round of La Liga kicks off this weekend, and there is no rest for the weary as we will be facing three rounds of fixtures over the next 10 days. In fact, the only day that we will not have a match in La Liga being played over that span of time will be onSeptember 21, with fixtures set to take place on nine of those 10 days. This round startson Friday, with the lone match, Getafe vs Malaga, at Coliseum Alfonso Pérez. These are two clubs who have not secured a win in the early campaign.

Our featured match of the weekend comes at El Madrigalon Sunday, with Villarreal hosting Athletic Bilbao. You may ask why we chose that match to be the highlight this weekend since, as you look around the schedule, there are plenty of lopsided games taking place this weekend. It is the only meeting of the teams in the top 7 of the current table.

Bet on la Liga at BetDSI

Real Madrid hosts Granadaon Saturdayand are only a mere -1385 at home, and Barcelona is in a similar position listed at -1250 against Levante at Camp Nou. Let's see what else we have in store for the fourth round of the La Liga campaign, and see if we can find some action to suggest along the way.

    Friday September 18- 1 Match

    Getafe vs Malaga

    3-Way: 1: Getafe +155 Home ; X: +215 Draw ; 2: Malaga +200 Away

Spread: Getafe Pk -130 ; Malaga Pk +110

    Total 2: Over -115 ; Under -105

    Analysis and Prediction:

Malaga has not even scored a goal through three fixtures, and two of those matches were played at their home grounds, La Rosaleda, against Sevlla and Eibar. We won't get on them about losing 1 - 0 to Barcelona, because that is actually a decent result when you consider that the Spanish champions were opening their home side of the campaign at the time.

Getafe is already at the bottom of the table, but have at least found the net twice despite being the only club to have lost all three of their games played this campaign.

We can't really expect goals to be scored, so we will simply move to the Under 2 at -105, and expect more of what we have seen from both clubs, which is two goals combined through three fixtures.

    Saturday September 19- 4 Matches

    Valencia vs Betis

    3-Way: 1: Valencia -200 Home ; X: +330 Draw ; 2: Betis +600 Away

    Spread: Valencia -1 -115 ; Betis +1 -105

    Total 2.5: Over -130 ; Under +110

Bet on la Liga at BetDSI

    Analysis and Prediction:

So how long do we expect it to take for Betis to get their first away win of this campaign, because it is not likely coming in this outing at Mestalla.

The line setters obviously see it the same way, throwing a -200 on the home side to take three points, but there is not a single bit of value to be had there.

Valencia is likely to take a 2 - 1 victor here, as the line setters again agree with the expectation of goals being scored at -130, so if we have to offer a play in this affair, the -1 on Valencia will have to be our approach, since the -115 offer is at least semi-reasonable.

    Real Madrid vs Granada

    3-Way: 1: Madrid -1385 Home ; X: +1500 Draw ; 2: Granada +2250 Away

Spread: Madrid NL ; Granada NL

    Total 4: Over -115 ; Under -105

    Analysis and Prediction:

We are not even seeing a spread offer here, which is understandable as Granada obviously has a zero chance of hanging around with Madrid for 90 minutes.

Gareth Bale came out of the Champions League affair with Shaktar in Madrid's matchday one meeting, suffering a calf injury that will likely keep him on this sidelines this weekend, if not longer, which could hurt since every club is playing three matches over the next two weekends.

Madrid should, however, be able to cruise to victory, but we are going to suggest the Under 4 here, because getting motivated to go out and thrash a Granada side with so much at stake in their European campaign, is simply pointless.

Hopefully Madrid will get the early goal, sit on it and maybe splash one or two more along the way, and keep it Under the 4 at -105.

    Real Sociedad vs Espanyol

    3-Way: 1: Sociedad -105 Home ; X: +240 Draw ; 2: Espanyol +325 Away

    Spread: Sociedad -0.5 -105; Espanyol +0.5 -115

    Total 2: Over -145 ; Under +125

Bet on la Liga at BetDSI

    Analysis and Prediction:

Sociedad is another of the three clubs to have not found the back of the net once in the early stages of the new campaign, joining Malaga and Gijon with nothing to speak of offensively.

We can't get too mislead by the nine goals Espanyol has allowed considering that six of them came last weekend against a Madrid side that was preparing for a Champions League matchday one affair this week.

We see this an under situation again, and until Sociedad shows us that they have a semblance of what they are doing to get on the scoreboard, we are not about to invest in one of their totals to go over, so the Under 2 at a lovely +125 goes in as our recommendation for this match at Anoeta.

    Eibar vs Atletico Madrid

    3-Way: 1: Eibar +625 Home ; X: +265 Draw ; 2: Atletico -170 Away

    Spread: Eibar +1 -130 ; Atletico -1 +110

    Total 2: Over -110 ; Under -110

    Analysis and Prediction:

So what do we think this score is going to be? Will we see 1 - 0 or 2 - 0?

Atletico does this all too often, and it simply is their plan to get results, so the -1 on Atletico is our offer, because the only thing we can expect is for them to win by a goal, or maybe two.

Hopefully, it is two so we can cash the ticket outright, but at least at +110 on the -1 handicap, we will be in a position to push the action should we see a 1 - 0 score when this one is said and done.

    Sunday September 20- 5 Matches

Featured Match Villarreal vs Athletic Bilbao

    3-Way 1x2 Lines:

    Villarreal +100

    Bilbao +315

    Draw +240

    Villarreal -0.5 +100

    Bilbao +0.5 -120

    Total 2.5:

    Over +125

    Under -145

Bet on la Liga at BetDSI

    Analysis and Prediction:

We made this out featured match of the weekend simply because there is no other meeting of two clubs in the top 10 of the table.

Villarreal has two wins and a draw in the early stages of the campaign, and they have found the next three times in their last two outings against Espanyol and Granada, who have both only beaten Granada in their only victories this year.

With the effort we say from Bilbao in their Super Cup outings against Barcelona, in which they won 4 - 0 and drew 1 - 1, we all thought that Bilbao was going to start the season much better than they have done thus far.

The opening day defeat to Barcelona 1 - 0 was a tough match, but the loss to Eibar really threw us off. Bilbao did rebound last weekend to find their first win of the campaign. They too have beaten Gefate for their only win of the year, but the three points was enough to push Bilbao all the way to tenth in the table with just one result.

We see this as a golden opportunity to catch the line setters giving away a little too much here, so the Over 2.5 at a lovely +125 is too good to not take advantage of in our opinion.

A 2 - 1 scoreline can easily make its way to the board, so hopefully we can cash that ticket when the third goal hits the back of the net.

    Dep La Coruna vs Gijon

    3-Way: 1: Deportivo +100 Home ; X: +235 Draw ; 2: Gijon +310 Away

    Spread: Deportivo -0.5 +100 ; Gijon +0.5 -120

    Total 2: Over -130 ; Under +110

    Analysis and Prediction:

Gijon has yet to score this year as we mentioned previously, and Deportivo has looked solid thus far with two draw and a win through their first three outings.

Once again the line setters are giving us a reasonable price on the +100 even money offer on the home side here, and we expect Deportivo to continue their uptrend and take three home points and, until Gijon scores, we certainly cannot invest a dime in them.

Bet on la Liga at BetDSI

    Barcelona vs Levante

    3-Way: 1: Barcelona -1250 Home ; X: +1400 Draw ; 2: Levante +2050 Away

    Spread: Barcelona -3 -130 ; Levante +3 +110

    Total 4: Over -125 ; Under +105

    Analysis and Prediction:

Barcelona 10 - Levante 0. That was last year's results in the two meetings a campaign ago, as Barca took 5 - 0 victories both at home and at Levante.

The Over 4 at -125 makes our board here, because laying the -3 handicap at -130 at least saves us a nickel of juice.

Why over analyze what we already know is likely to happen, as Barca will likely be ready to take out their frustration of the 1 - 1 draw in Rome against AS Roma in their matchday one affair in Champions League.

    Sevilla vs Celta De Vigo

    3-Way: 1: Sevilla -115 Home ; X: +275 Draw ; 2: Vigo +310 Away

    Spread: Sevilla -0.5 -115; Vigo +0.5 -105

    Total 2.5: Over -130 ; Under +110

    Analysis and Prediction:

Sevilla did come away with a 3 - 0 victory over Moenchengladbach in their Champions league affair, although the score really doesn't depict how close of a match it really was.

Sevilla was given three penalty kicks against the German side and converted two of them, and scored a third goal late to win 3 - 0, although that seems like the way things are going for Gladbach this year, as they have gotten off to a terrible start to both their domestic league and Champions League campaigns.

Vigo may not last at the top of the table for long, but as it sits entering this weekend, they are only behind Barcelona and Madrid and have outscored their three opponents thus far 8 - 4 in the early going.

These two always play tight, low-scoring affairs against each other, so we are going to offer the Under 2.5 at +110, liking both the line offered, and the recent history of results between the clubs.

    Las Palmas vs Vallecano

    3-Way: 1: Las Palmas -110 Home ; X: +270 Draw ; 2: Vallecano +305 Away

    Spread: Las Palmas -0.5 -110 ; Vallecano +0.5 -110

    Total 2.5: Over -110 ; Under -110

Bet on la Liga at BetDSI

    Analysis and Prediction:

Vallecano has allowed three goals in their last two outings, and Las Palmas found a way to do the same in their 3 - 3 draw with Vigo last weekend, so that is why the line setters are offering a confusing -110 on either side of the total.

They can be as confused as they want to be, so let's clear the confusion and offer the Under 2.5 at -110, because most common folk will see those results and expect them to simply carry over to this match, and we simply do not see it going down like that.

The Under is the play here, and we actually expect a 1 - 0 win for Las Palmas, expecting them to get their first La Liga win.
