Soccer Betting: As we approach round 15 of the Bundesliga campaign, each club faces the reality that there are only nine available points before the extensive Bundesliga winter break. The round gets underwayon Fridaywith the match at Veltins-Arena, as Schalke plays host to Hannover hoping home field will lift Die Königsblauen to an elusive win. Schalke has only one win in their last nine outings in all competitions, and have gone five straight league matches without a win.

Our featured match of the weekend comes among the six contests set forSaturday, as Moenchengladbach welcomes Bayern Munich to Borussia-Park. Gladbach has not only been revived under Andre Schubert, but they have almost been reborn in a sense.

Riding a 12-match stretch without a loss in all competitions that dates back to their matchday two loss in Champions League group stage onSeptember 30, the Foals also take a nine-match streak without a loss in league play into the weekend.

Also on theSaturdayslate, we have a two vs three clash in the table as Wolfsburg play host to Borussia Dortmund at Volkswagen Arena. Dortmund is the only club other than Bayern Munich to have double-digit wins on the campaign, as Wolfsburg, Gladbach and Hertha Berlin chase behind with seven wins through the first 14 fixtures of the season.

TwoSundaymatches round-out the weekend, and we offer a total that is almost too good to be true among them, so let's get to the pitch!

    Friday December 4- 1 Match

    Schalke vs Hannover

    3-Way: 1: Schalke -175 Home ; X: +333 Draw ; 2: Hannover +475 Away

    Spread: Schalke -1 -105 ; Hannover +1 -115

    Total 2.5: Over -135 ; Under +115

    Analysis and Prediction:

Schalke has slowly fallen off the pace after five straight outings without a win in league play, and overall the Blues have only one win in their last nine outings in all competitions.

Schalke is a perfect 4 - 0 in their last four home games against Hannover, as they have held the Reds to clean sheets in three of those four outings.

Hannover is coming off their biggest win of the campaign last weekend, finding a 4 - 0 result over Ingostadt at HDI-Arena.

Schalke has not allowed a goal at home over their last five contests played on aFriday, although the last time it did happen, we saw these two clubs play to a 5 - 4 score on January 18, 2013.

The Hannover +1 handicap offer at -115 is the suggestion we make, simply because of how inconsistent Schalke has been lately.

Featured Match Borussia Moenchengladbach vs Bayern Munich

    3-Way 1x2 Lines:

    Gladbach +750

    Bayern -285

    Draw +450

    Spread:

    Gladbach +1.5 -110

    Bayern -1.5 -110

    Total 3:

    Over -130

    Under +110

    Analysis and Prediction:

We cannot overstate enough the amazing job that Andre Schubert is doing as the Gladbach manager, and now his club gets their ultimate test with the defending champions coming to Borussia-Park.

Gladbach has stretched their run to nine straight matches without a loss under Schubert, while scoring an impressive 26 goals only trailing Bayern Munich who have 27 over the same time span.

Bayern's Pep Guardiola will be in search of his 100th win as a Bayern Munich manager, which would put him in the company of Udo Lattek, Pal Csernai, Ottmar Hitzfeld and Jupp Heynckes.

One club that Bayern has struggled with over the past year and a half is this Gladbach club. Gladbach has taken a result in four straight meetings including two German cup affairs and both of last year's league meetings. If you would like to be even more impressed by a stat, how about the fact that Gladbach didn't allow a single goal to Bayern in both of their regular season meetings last campaign.

This is obviously Gladbach's toughest test under Schubert in league play, but there is still confidence in his group as a result of the recent success they have had against Bayern.

We offer the +1.5 handicap line on the home side, expecting them to again keep this a close contest.

    Hamburger vs Mainz

    3-Way: 1: Hamburg +135 Home ; X: +240 Draw ; 2: Mainz +215 Away

Spread: Hamburg Pk -145 ; Mainz Pk +125

    Total 2.5: Over -110 ; Under -110

Bet on The Bundesliga at BetDSI

    Analysis and Prediction:

It's been a while since we've been able to preview a Hamburg vs Mainz match and discuss two clubs in the upper half of the table. In fact, it has been five years since we have seen both of these clubs in the upper portion of the table at the same time.

Only one point separate the two clubs and, with a win for either side, it could propel them to a possible top-four appearance in the table with only two matches remaining before the winter break arrives.

The last five meetings have all produced no less than 2 - 1 outcomes, so we ride that trend in to this match, and offer the Over 2.5 at -110.

    Hertha Berlin vs Bayer Leverkusen

    3-Way: 1: Berlin +260 Home ; X: +240 Draw ; 2: Leverkusen +115 Away

    Spread: Berlin +0.5 -135; Leverkusen -0.5 +115

    Total 2.5: Over -105 ; Under -115

    Analysis and Prediction:

Leverkusen has taken a result in eight straight matches against Berlin, with wins in the last four following four straight draws in the series.

Only two points separate the clubs as they currently are in fifth and sixth place respectively entering round 15.

Berlin was unable to find a response to Bayern Munich last weekend, losing 2 - 0 after giving up two first half goals to the defending champs, while only putting a single shot on goal in the contest.

Leverkusen came away with a point as a result of their 1 - 1 draw with Schalke last weekend, but they have enjoyed a good amount of success in the capital over the years. In the last 19 meetings in Berlin, Leverkusen has only lost four meetings.

We are going to offer a rare draw call in this match, expecting a 1 - 1 affair to take place at Olympiastadion. At +240, there is plenty of value behind the offer.

    Ingolstadt vs Hoffenheim

    3-Way: 1: Ingolstadt +135 Home ; X: +225 Draw ; 2: Hoffenheim +225 Away

Spread: Ingolstadt Pk -150 ; Hoffenheim Pk +130

    Total 2.5: Over +115 ; Under -135

Bet on The Bundesliga at BetDSI

    Analysis and Prediction:

If you missed the Hoffenheim vs Gladbach match this past weekend, go watch it because it was simply the best match of round 14.

Gladbach came out of the gate with a goal in the first five minutes, but were unable to stop Hoffenheim from scoring three straight goals in reply. The Gladbach pressure in the last 10 minutes to find that leveling goal to make it 3 - 3 was relentless, and you could almost feel that draw coming.

Ingolstadt, as we mentioned before, took a 4 - 0 thrashing at the hands of Hannover, with the highlight being the five saves from Hannover keeper Ron-Robert Zieler.

What the hell the line setters are doing offering a +115 on this Over 2.5 is beyond us, and we are undoubtedly suggesting that total to come in this weekend.

A 2 - 1 contest is almost a given in our opinion, so jump all over that Over 2.5 at that price.

    Koln vs Augsburg

    3-Way: 1: Koln +125 Home ; X: +235 Draw ; 2: Augsburg +235 Away

    Spread: Koln -0.5 +125 ; Augsburg +0.5 -145

    Total 2.5: Over -105 ; Under -115

    Analysis and Prediction:

Koln has more points at this point of the campaign than they have in 15 years, as the 2000/01 season was the last time they were at 20 points through 14 rounds.

Peter Stöger can equal his record of five games unbeaten that he achieved in the back half of last year's campaign, as he has led the club to three wins and a draw in their last four outings.

Augsburg has never in their history held three straight opponents to clean sheets and, despite only having two wins and 10 points on the season, they could do just that if they can keep Koln off the board this weekend.

Considering that Koln has played two straight 0 - 0 matches, we offer the Under 2.5 at -115, expecting more of what we are currently seeing from the two outfits.

    Wolfsburg vs Borussia Dortmund

    3-Way: 1: Wolfsburg +333 Home ; X: +300 Draw ; 2: Dortmund -125 Away

    Spread: Wolfsburg +0.5 +105 ; Dortmund -0.5 -125

    Total 3: Over -115 ; Under -105

Bet on The Bundesliga at BetDSI

    Analysis and Prediction:

Wolfsburg has lost only three times at home in the last two years, but none of those losses have come in Bundesliga action. The Wolves are out to set the Bundesliga record this weekend, looking to stretch their home unbeaten streak to 30 matches in league play.

Dortmund has found the net at least once in 14 straight outings against Wolfsburg, and we expect they will be able to do it again, despite how well Wolfsburg has been on the defensive side of the ball this campaign.

We see a 1 - 1 result coming here, so we offer a second draw this weekend in Bundesliga, seeing a +300 on the action.

    Sunday December 6- 2 Matches

    Stuttgart vs Werder Bremen

    3-Way: 1: Stuttgart +100 Home ; X: +275 Draw ; 2: Bremen +275 Away

    Spread: Stuttgart -0.5 +100 ; Bremen +0.5 -120

    Total 3: Over -115 ; Under -105

    Analysis and Prediction:

Wow, and that is about the word we have to use when referring to these two defenses. How does 53 combined goals allowed suit your fancy?

Yes, let's say it again ... WOW!

There is nothing else to suggest here but more of what we have already seen this campaign from these two, and if you want to give me these two defenses on the same pitch, you go ahead and do that.

The Over 3 at -115 is peanuts to ask for a 2 - 1 type of push on the action, and we see this as the opportunity to expect goals to be in the back of the net much more often than the 3 we need.

    Frankfurt vs Darmstadt

    3-Way: 1: Frankfurt -110 Home ; X: +240 Draw ; 2: Darmstadt +350 Away

    Spread: Frankfurt -0.5 -110 ; Darmstadt +0.5 -110

    Total 2.5: Over +110 ; Under -130

Bet on The Bundesliga at BetDSI

    Analysis and Prediction:

For the first time in 33 years, the Hessenderby between Frankfurt and Darmstadt will be taking place, while also marking the first time since 1984 that two clubs from the Hessen region have met in Bundesliga action.

Frankfurt took the last Hessenderby in 1982, winning the second meeting of that campaign with a 2 - 1 win here at Commerzbank-Arena, which was known as Waldstadion at the time.

Both clubs have been struggling finding results lately, as Frankfurt is trying to shake off a four-match stretch without a win, while Darmstadt faces their own five-match winless run.

Scoring has been a concern for both clubs lately as well, as the two have combined to score only two goals over their respective winless stretch.

With that recognition, we have to suggest a play on the Under 2.5 despite the -130 offer on the action. Granted that is on the edge of most players comfort zone, as it is ours, but when you catch two clubs struggling to find the net, while also dealing with winds and a high temp of 50 degrees F, that could make for a long match.
