Soccer Betting: With the big match at Allianz Arena between Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen highlighting the third weekend of the Bundesliga campaign, both clubs enter their match as two of the three clubs who started the campaign with two wins.

The round kicks offon Friday with Wolfsburg hosting Schalke at Volkswagen Arena. Borussia Dortmund have come out of the gate screaming, having two 4 - 0 wins under their belts through the first two weekends of action. Their home match with Hertha Berlin also pits two clubs who have not lost as of yet, as Berlin has quietly earned four points in their first two outings.

Let's see what else is on the slate for the three days of action on the German pitch, as the Bundesliga campaign continues.

    Friday August 28 - 1 Match

    Wolfsburg vs Schalke

    3-Way: 1: Wolfsburg -105 Home X: +270 Draw 2: Schalke +290 Away

    Spread: Wolfsburg -0.5 -105 Schalke +0.5 -115

    Total 3: Over +100 Under -120

    Analysis and Prediction:

Wolfsburg and Schalke are two of the four clubs in the league who have a win and a draw through the first two fixtures of the campaign.

Schalke won their road opener over Werder Bremen 3 - 0, and drew with newly arrived Darmstadt last weekend at home.

Wolfsburg took three points in their home opener to start the campaign over Frankfurt, and struggled a bit last weekend at Cologne while needing until the 83rd minute to find the equalizing goal after going down 1 - 0 on the half hour mark of the match.

Schalke is 5 - 1 - 1 in the last seven meetings between the two clubs, and the two played to a 1 - 1 draw here in their second meeting of the campaign.

Wolfsburg found out on Thursday that they will be competing in Champions League Group B when the tournament continues in mid-September. They will be joined by PSV Eindhoven, Manchester United and CSKA Moscow.

For this match, we will be suggesting the total here, as we expect no less than a 2 - 1 result that would, at worst, push our action on the Over 3 at even money.

Featured Match Bayern Munich vs Bayer Leverkusen

    3-Way 1x2 Lines:

    Munich -330

    Leverskusen +950

    Draw +465

    Munich -1.5 -115

    Leverkusen +1.5 -105

    Total 3:

    Over -115

    Under -105

    Analysis and Prediction:

Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen also got their placement in the Champions League Group Stage reveal at Monaco Thursday afternoon.

Bayern Munich will be competing in Group F with Arsenal, Olympiacos and Dynamo Zagreb.

Leverkusen will be dealing with Barcelona, AS Roma and Bate Borisov in Group E.

Each club has only surrendered one goal in their first two outings of the campaign, although they have both had the luxury of facing Hoffenheim.

Most of us who follow this league know that Munich has the ability to score at will, and at home they can certainly navigate any match in their favor, but Leverkusen is not about to walk in to the Allianz Arena scared or overly impressed.

Bayern has not beaten Leverkusen by two or more goals in years. You have to go back to 2011 to find the last time Munich won by multiple goals in the series. And let's not forget last season, when Leverkusen was able to beat Bayern in their second meeting at BayArena, although the injuries for Bayern at the time was a factor.

We are suggesting the +1.5 handicap line with Leverkusen here, and we are actually mildly surprised the offer is on the board, much less only -105 on the action.

    Koln vs Hamburger

    3-Way: 1: Koln -120 Home X: +270 Draw 2: Hamburg +345 Away

    Spread: Koln -0.5 -120 Hamburg +0.5 +100

    Total 2.5: Over -125 Under +105

    Analysis and Prediction:

Hamburg did a great job rebounding from their 5 - 0 opening day loss against Bayern Munich by taking a 3 - 2 win over Stuttgart this past weekend. Of course they did get a lot of help from Stuttgart who took a 2 - 1 lead to halftime, but were a man down after Florian Klein picked up two yellow cards within a minute of each other, resulting in his sending off the pitch.

Hamburg scored two goals in the last six minutes of regulation time to eke out a 3 - 2 home win.

Koln came within seven minutes of taking all three points against Wolfsburg last weekend, but eventually were left settling for one point after their 1 - 1 draw at home. Now Koln gets to remain home this weekend to face a Hamburg club that already leads the league with seven goals allowed through two matches of the young campaign.

We are taking this Over 2.5, and we suspect that the line setters see it as a possibility offering a -125 on the action.

    Augsburg vs Ingolstadt

    3-Way: 1: Augsburg -105 Home X: +250 Draw 2: Ingolstadt +300 Away

    Spread: Augsburg -0.5 -105 Ingolstadt +0.5 -115

    Total 2.5: Over +105 Under -125

    Analysis and Prediction:

Augsburg is one of four clubs who have only scored a single goal through the first two rounds of Bundesliga action, and once again they appear to be that club that is going to struggle with inconsistency as they did a year ago.

All too often last season we saw Augsburg unable to put a win streak together as the second half of the campaign carried on, and we are already seeing similar signs of that with only two matches played.

The Ingolstadt +0.5 at -115 is going on our board here, because we suspect that a 1 - 1 type of low-scoring draw could be the final outcome, and that will help us cash the +0.5 ticket.

    Mainz vs Hannover

    3-Way: 1: Mainz -105 Home X: +255 Draw 2: Hannover +300 Away

    Spread: Mainz -0.5 -105 Hannover +0.5 -115

    Total 2.5: Over -110 Under -110

    Analysis and Prediction:

Mainz came out of the gate flat while letting Ingolstadt win their first Bundesliga match opening weekend in their stadium, but they rebounded nicely to take a 2 - 1 away win vs Gladbach last weekend and earn three important early points.

Hannover has one point to show for their two outings, as they drew with Darmstadt opening weekend, and lost 1 - 0 to Leverkusen last weekend.

We see a point coming for both clubs in this match, although we are not just going to settle for the -115 on the +0.5 handicap with Hannover.

The straight Draw action at +255 makes our board this weekend for the match at Coface Arena, on a hunch that we will be seeing a 1 - 1 result when the final whistle blows.

    Darmstadt vs Hoffenheim

    3-Way: 1: Darmstadt +185 Home X: +235 Draw 2: Hoffenheim +155 Away

Spread: Darmstadt Pk +100 Hoffenheim Pk -120

    Total 2.5: Over -105 Under -115

    Analysis and Prediction:

We can't really blame Hoffenheim for having to start the campaign with Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen, which obviously leaves them 0 - 2 through two matches.

Darmstadt looks like they will not be an easy out after playing to two draws thus far, but we see that turning around this weekend.

The Darmstadt Pk Draw no Bet action will be making our suggestion box this weekend, as we expect them to come up with their first win in front of their fans at Merck-Stadion am Böllenfalltor.

    Stuttgart vs Frankfurt

    3-Way: 1: Stuttgart -110 Home X: +290 Draw 2: Frankfurt +285 Away

    Spread: Stuttgart -0.5 -110 Frankfurt +0.5 -110

    Total 3: Over -115 Under -105

    Analysis and Prediction:

We can already confirm that Stuttgart will be facing a season long battle of trying to remain in top flight this year, and whether they are home, away, or playing in the Antarctic snow, we simply do not expect anything to change any time soon.

Frankfurt has at least shown that they have some fight in them, after giving Wolfsburg all they could handle in the 2 - 1 opening day loss. The Eagles deserved to get that point by the way they played in the second half while down 2 - 1 the entire half.

The draw last weekend showed us more fight, as they went down 1 - 0 mid-way in the first half, but found that equalizing goal to at least salvage the point at home.

We are gladly suggesting the +0.5 handicap with Frankfurt here at -110 simply because, as we mentioned, we just don't see the same fight from Stuttgart that we are seeing from Frankfurt in the early going.

    Sunday August 30- 2 Matches

    Borussia Dortmund vs Hertha Berlin

    3-Way: 1: Dortmund -435 Home X: +570 Draw 2: Berlin +1200 Away

    Spread: Dortmund -1.5 -155 Berlin +1.5 +135

    Total 2.5: Over +110 Under -130

    Analysis and Prediction:

Dortmund is carrying the momentum from the second half of last season right in to the new campaign, and two convincing 4 - 0 wins is certainly evidence of that.

What's nice about their hot start is that now the line setters have it in their minds that Dortmund is the next big thing because of two outings, and Berlin is not as bad as the line may appear to reveal. That +1,200 line on a possible three points might not seem too likely for Berlin, but amazingly we still see a +130 on the +1.5 handicap line, and we just do not think that Dortmund is going to continue pouring in goals whether they are home or not.

The price is fair and Berlin should be ready to show up and give Dortmund a test, so the +130 on the +1.5 Berlin handicap will hopefully start ourSundayoff right.

    Werder Bremen vs Moenchengladbach

    3-Way: 1: Bremen +220 Home X: +250 Draw 2: Gladbach +125 Away

    Spread: Bremen +0.5 -145 Gladbach -0.5 +125

    Total 2.5: Over -130 Under +110

    Analysis and Prediction:

Gladbach is the fourth Bundesliga club that got their Champions League assignmenton Thursday, and they will be in a difficult Group D that includes Juventus, Manchester City and Sevilla.

This total is hysterical, and we will not even bother with this 2.5 to go Over because the line on the straight 3 to go over is +115, and that is where the money is.

These two should have all three of those goals by halftime, and it will just be a matter of time before that fourth comes to cash our tickets, and if the 2 - 1 result is the best they can manage, that is just fine as we will see our funds returned in the end.
