Soccer Betting: After a mid-week round of Champions League action that saw German sides go 1 - 3 on matchday two, the Bundesliga campaign resumes with an early battle of the top two clubs in the table highlighting the weekend's action. Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund remain as the only two clubs in the league to have not suffered a defeat, and the two face off at Allianz Arenaon Sunday.

Before we get there however, the round kicks offon Fridaywith Darmstadt hosting Mainz at Merck-Stadion am Böllenfalltor. Darmstadt has certainly held their own since their promotion to top flight German football, having only one loss through the first seven fixtures of the campaign.

On Saturdaythere are five matches on the schedule, with the match at Stadion im Borussia-Park between Gladbach and Wolfsburg being the biggest match of the day.Gladbach looks to build on a two-match win streak under their newly appointed manager André Schubert, although their success did not carry over to Champions League this week, as the German side fell short to Manchester City in Group D action.

Let's get to the round, and see what we can expect on the German pitch this weekend.

    Friday October 2- 1 Match

    Darmstadt vs Mainz

    3-Way: 1: Darmstadt +195 Home ; X: +230 Draw ; 2: Mainz +155 Away

Spread: Darmstadt Pk +105 ; Mainz Pk -125

    Total 2.5: Over +110 ; Under -130

    Analysis and Prediction:

Darmstadt came away with a pretty nice result last weekend, drawing with Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park, after Dortmund had started their home portion of the campaign 3 - 0.The Bundesliga newcomers have yet to lose away from home this year, with two draws and a win in their three road matches.

Mainz enter the weekend hoping to shake off a two-match skid, while losing three of their last four league outings. They've been held scoreless in their last two matches, and were totally dominated by Bayern Munich last weekend, managing just one shot on goal to the German champs.

Darmstadt is getting our nod here simply because, away from home, Mainz has been a complete mess for years. Mainz had 12 wins away from home in the last three campaigns combined, although they do have one under their belt this year which came against Gladbach who got off to a 0 - 0 - 5 start themselves.

The Pk Draw no Bet action on the home side works for us, with a +105 attached to the action on Darmstadt.

    Saturday October 3 - 5Matches

    Moenchengladbach vs Wolfsburg

    3-Way: 1: Gladbach +175 Home ; X: +240 Draw ; 2: Wolfsburg +165 Away

Spread: Gladbach Pk -105 ; Wolfsburg Pk -115

    Total 2.5: Over -125 ; Under +105

    Analysis and Prediction:

Gladbach and Wolfsburg each lost their Champions League encounters this week, although Gladbach has been playing much better since Andre Schubert has taken over. Ironically, they both lost to the English Premier clubs from Manchester with identical 2 - 1 results.

After starting league play with five consecutive losses, Gladbach has taken their last two outings, but still have a lot of work ahead of them with only six points in 14th place.

The away side hasn't tasted victory in the last 10 meetings between the two clubs, and Wolfsburg has gone six matches here at Borussia-Park without a win.

We are offering this total, and taking the Over 2.5 at -125.

Gladbach is scoring under their new manager, and we know that Wolfsburg has the potential to score anywhere, so hopefully the two get together and give us a nice show with some goals in the back of the net.

    Ingolstadt vs Frankfurt

    3-Way: 1: Ingolstadt +165 Home ; X: +230 Draw ; 2: Frankfurt +175 Away

Spread: Ingolstadt Pk -115 ; Frankfurt Pk -105

    Total 2.5: Over +100 ; Under -120

Bet on the Bundesliga at BetDSI

    Analysis and Prediction:

Ingolstadt has not shown any sign of intimidation since coming up to top flight football, although they are still looking for their first win at Audi-Sportpark in front of their fans.

The road has been where the newcomers have done all their damage in the campaign, actually sitting with the best road record in Bundesliga with 10 points from four away outings.

We thought that Frankfurt would continue to score goals, after scoring 10 goals in two matches against Stuttgart and Koln. In the three outings since their offensive barrage, Frankfurt has scored just a single goal in two draws and a loss that has them sitting in 11th place in the table.

We are offering this Under 2.5 at -120, as Ingolstadt has certainly played well defensively so far, and Frankfurt has no idea where the net is at this point of the campaign.

    Hannover vs Werder Bremen

    3-Way: 1: Hannover +165 Home ; X: +255 Draw ; 2: Bremen +165 Away

Spread: Hannover Pk -110 ; Bremen Pk -110

    Total 2.5: Over -130 ; Under +110

    Analysis and Prediction:

Hannover earned their second point of the campaign with an unexpected draw at Volkswagen Park against Wolfsburg last weekend, but they have yet to find a win and remain at the bottom of the table.

Werder Bremen has lost three consecutive outings, but how's this for a stat? Bremen has gone 27 consecutive outings, if we include their pre-season preparation matches, with at least one goal scored when they are away from home. That covers the entirety of 2015 in case you were wondering.

With that said, we offer the Over 2.5 despite the marginal juice of -130 on the action.

We will also add the Werder Bremen Pk Draw no Bet action of -110, expecting the road club to at worst draw, if not come away with all three points in a 2 - 1 win.

    Hertha Berlin vs Hamburger

    3-Way: 1: Berlin +115 Home ; X: +230 Draw ; 2: Hamburg +275 Away

    Spread: Berlin -0.5 +115 ; Hamburg +0.5 -135

    Total 2.5: Over +115 ; Under -135

Bet on the Bundesliga at BetDSI

    Analysis and Prediction:

After Berlin barely survived staying in top flight a year ago, they have come out of the gate looking much better than what we saw from the capital club in the 2014-15 campaign.

With a 3 - 2 - 2 record in sixth place, Berlin has won back-to-back home games, looking to extend their home streak without a loss to four matches to open the campaign.

Hamburg has two straight away wins to their credit after losing their first two matches away from home to start the campaign. Before last weekend's 1 - 0 loss to Schalke Hamburg had a three-match streak going without allowing a goal, and it took an hour for Schalke to find their goal that brought the run to an end.

Until Berlin loses at home, we will give them some credit and invest in the +115 3-Way action on the home side.

    Hoffenheim vs Stuttgart

    3-Way: 1: Hoffenheim +150 Home ; X: +260 Draw ; 2: Stuttgart +175 Away

Spread: Hoffenheim Pk -115 ; Stuttgart Pk -105

    Total 3: Over -125 ; Under +105

    Analysis and Prediction:

If you are looking for defense, you might want to turn to a different match on the schedule this weekend, because there is no defense to be found between these two clubs.

Why else would we see a straight 3 on the total with a -125 attached to the action?

In what we expect to be a 3 - 3 type of match, we completely agree with the line setters, and comply with the -125 offer on the Over 3.

    Sunday October 4- 3 Matches

Featured Match Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund

    3-Way 1x2 Lines:

    Bayern -165

    Dortmund +450

    Draw +330

    Bayern -1 +100

    Dortmund +1 -120

    Total 3:

    Over -115

    Under -105

Bet on the Bundesliga at BetDSI

    Analysis and Prediction:

Once again, Bayern Munich prevailed in their mid-week Champions League outing against in emphatic fashion, with the continuation of the Robert Lewandowski show.

With 10 goals scored over a week's span from all competitions, no one has shown an ounce of concern over the absences of some of their significant household names that are still out with injuries.

Dortmund got off to a hot 5 - 0 - 0 start, but have since only managed to find two points in their last two league outings.

We will not know the results of theirThursdayEuropa League match with PAOK before submitting this article, but we can only hope that no major injuries change the team dynamic as they look to keep pace with Bayern at the top of the table.

We are undoubtedly offering this total, and three goals is almost hysterical of an offer here at Allianz Arena, especially at a simple -115.

Show us you can slow down this crazy Bayern attack, and then maybe we will change our minds, but until then the Over 3 at -115 is too good of an offer to refuse.

    Bayer Leverkusen vs Augsburg

    3-Way: 1: Leverkusen -265 Home ; X: +395 Draw ; 2: Augsburg +800 Away

    Spread: Leverkusen -1.5 +100 ; Augsburg +1.5 -120

    Total 3: Over +105 ; Under -125

    Analysis and Prediction:

Augsburg is exactly where we expected them to be this campaign, and not a lot is going to change anytime soon. With one win and already in the relegation zone, we expect them to be battling to stay in top flight for the rest of the year.

Leverkusen got off to a 2 - 0 start, and then lost three straight outings before starting another two-match win streak that they carry in to this weekend.

This is yet another opportunity to watch Leverkusen go out and perform, despite coming away with a loss to Barcelona this week in their Champions League outing.

We offer the Over 3 at +105, expecting no less than a 2 - 1 home win.

    Schalke vs Koln

    3-Way: 1: Schalke -125 Home ; X: +285 Draw ; 2: Koln +350 Away

    Spread: Schalke -0.5 -125 ; Koln +0.5 +105

    Total 2.5: Over -125 ; Under +105

Bet on the Bundesliga at BetDSI

    Analysis and Prediction:

Schalke will be taking on Greece side Asteras Tripolis in their Europa League group stageon Thursday, looking to build on their lead in Group K after coming away with a 3 - 0 win on matchday one.

Schalke has held their last four opponents without a goal, the last three coming in league play, while including their Europa League affair against APOEL.

Koln has had Schalke's number the last couple of years, sweeping the series a year ago, riding a three-game win streak over the Blues.

We will not know the result of Schalke's Europa League match with Tripolis, but we can only assume that they will escape with victory and remain healthy.

With that in mind, we offer the Schalke 3-Way line of -125 to take all three points, but of course, keep an eye out for the lineup to ensure that they are putting their normal starting XI on the pitch.
