Nationwide Virginia 529 College Savings 250 Odds

There are nine races remaining in the Nationwide season beginning with Friday’s Virginia 529 College Savings 250. Let’s take a look at this race that can be seen on ESPN and our predictions.

    NASCAR Odds at Diamond Sportsbook

    Kurt Busch +270

    Ricky Stenhouse Jr. +360

    Kevin Harvick +400

    Denny Hamlin +400

    Elliott Sadler +800

    Sam Hornish Jr. +800

    Austin Dillon +1000

    Justin Allgaier +1200

    Ty Dillon +1800

    Field +500

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. leads the Nationwide point’s standings by 12 points over Elliott Sadler. Stenhouse has been very consistent of late with nine finishes in the Top 10 in his last ten races. Last year it was Kyle Busch winning this race but he will not be back to defend his title. Two years ago it was Kevin Harvick winning and he is the third choice in the betting. Harvick has won this race three times and he could have some value in NASCAR odds. Elliott Sadler leads the standings but he is feeling the heat. He has had had three straight Top 10 finishes at Richmond but it is still hard to like him to get the win.

    NASCAR Picks

I like two drivers to win. I’ll take Kevin Harvick at NASCAR odds of 4-1 and Sam Hornish Jr. at 8-1. Harvick has owned this track and he is trying to break a long losing streak as he hasn’t won in either the Nationwide or the Sprint Cup series this season. "We had a good run at Richmond in the spring and I've had a lot of success there in the past.” Harvick said, “Richmond is a flat track that really fits my driving style. This is also the third consecutive weekend that I've driven the No. 33 Nationwide Series car for Richard Childress Racing, we've been competitive each week and I think we have a great chance to get the Armour Vienna Sausages Chevrolet in Victory Lane Friday night."

Sam Hornish Jr. should be motivated on Friday night to get the win since he was passed over in the Sprint Cup Series in favor of Joey Logano in the #22 car for Penske. For more sports betting odds make sure to follow BetDSI@Twitter.
