F1 Betting - Vettel Favored to Win German Grand Prix

    F1 Betting - Sebastian Vettel

The German Grand Prix is set for Sunday with Sebastian Vettel the solid favorite in F1 betting at our online sportsbook. It is expected to be a battle between Vettel, Fernando Alonso, Mark Webber and Lewis Hamilton on Sunday.

    F1 Betting Odds

There are four drivers with single digit odds to win the German Grand Prix and two other drivers that are considered longshots. Vettel is the solid favorite while Alonso is the close second choice while Webber is the third choice and Hamilton the fourth choice. The only other two drivers given any chance to win are Jenson Button and Felipe Massa but each of them are still listed with double-digit odds in F1 betting at BetDSI.

Vettel Leads Webber by 80 Points

The point’s race may already be over even though there are ten races left in the Formula One betting season. Sebastian Vettel leads Webber by 80 points while Alonso is 92 points back. Vettel is routinely favored in F1 betting and this week he has the added edge of racing at home. "For some, it may create some pressure or raise the expectations, but I don't really feel it," Vettel said, "In fact, it may give me an extra push, maybe I can get a tenth (of a second) more here and there, which could be decisive on the track."

    Vettel’s Domination

There has not been much suspense this season in Formula One with Vettel winning six of the nine races. He has been on the pole seven times and has finished first or second in every race this season. Vettel and Red Bull are dominating. Red Bull leads the constructors’ standings with 328 points, well clear of McLaren who has 218 points.

    German Grand Prix Facts

Webber won his first Formula One race in the 2009 German Grand Prix so he is definitely worth considering on Sunday. He won that race by 10 second over Vettel who finished second. Alonso has won twice on the circuit as he was the winner in 2005 and in 2007. “The German and next week's Hungarian Grand Prix are the closest Red Bull has to a home Grand Prix, so the support is going to be pretty amazing for the team and for Sebastian in particular on his home soil," Webber said.
