This will be the second event for Fox and it should be a lot better than the first one because this time we get three fights instead of just one. The main event is an excellent one between Evans and Davis and the other two fights should be entertaining as well.
Main Card (Fox)
Rashad Evans -160 vs. Phil Davis
This is a huge fight for Evans who will be in line for a title shot against Jon Jones if he beats Davis. The danger for Evans would be overlooking Davis but listening to Evans that doesn’t seem to be the case. “When it comes down to it, this is my title fight right here,” Evans said, “I can’t look past Phil in any shape or form, so the whole Jon Jones talk and what could potentially happen if I win this fight -- it really doesn’t matter. Everything is contingent upon my performance [here]. The only thing I can even think of right now is my performance [on Saturday].”
Chael Sonnen -435 vs. Michael Bisping
The winner of this fight is supposedly going to get a title shot against Anderson Silva although Sonnen has gone on record as saying that it will never happen as he doesn’t think Silva will fight again.
Chris Weidman -155 vs. Demian Maia
The odds on this might seem strange since Maia is more of a name than Weidman but the oddsmakers usually don’t make big mistakes. Maia was supposed to fight Michael Bisping but Bisping was moved to face Sonnen which means Maia now has to prepare for a wrestler instead of a striker.
