Nick Diaz -185 vs. Carlos Condit
The price on this continues to go up and it is easy to see why. Diaz was simply dominant in beating BJ Penn back at UFC 137 last October and while Condit is a talented fighter, Diaz is better all the way around. “I think I'm the most well-rounded fighter in the world. I deserve a spot in the pound-for-pound rankings and that's what I'm fighting for,” Diaz said. We’ll lay the money and go with Diaz to get the win.
Fabricio Werdum -150 vs. Roy Nelson
This is the return of Werdum to the UFC as he hasn’t fought since losing to Junior dos Santos at UFC 90 in 2008. This could end up as the fight of the night as both fighters will look to go toe to toe. Werdum has the motivation and we’ll take him to win this fight.
Ed Herman -300 vs. Clifford Starks
Herman has won two straight fights since getting injured in UFC 102. He will be facing a fighter in Clifford Starks who is unbeaten since going pro. This is a really high price on Herman considering he isn’t anything special. Starks has the wrestling background to control this fight and he is a very live underdog and our choice in UFC predictions.
Josh Koscheck -250 vs. Mike Pierce
These two have a combined record of 29-9 and appear to be pretty evenly matched. Both fighters may want to keep this fight off the mat and go for the knockout. Koscheck should win but you have to be a little worried about his motivation as he was supposed to be going up against Carlos Condit. At this price we’ll pass.
Renan Barao -215 vs. Scott Jorgensen
This should be a win for Barao who appears to be one of the rising stars in the UFC. Jorgensen is a good fighter but he is not in the class of Barao and although the price is high, we’ll go with Barao to get the win.
