UFC 143 Main Card
Nick Diaz -170 vs. Carlos Condit
The main event was supposed to be Diaz facing Georges St-Pierre for the Welterweight Championship but St-Pierre is out due to injury so this fight between Diaz and Condit will be for the interim title. The fight has the potential to be one of the best feature fights we have seen in some time as both fighters love to stand and slug it out. Both are weak on takedown defense but it doesn’t appear either one has the desire to take the fight to the mat. Diaz is favored and rightly so as in a striking battle he looks to have the edge as fighters with more power than Condit have tried and failed to knockout Diaz.
Roy Nelson vs. Fabricio Werdum
This fight has the closest betting odds of any fight on the main card with Werdum a slight favorite at -125.
