    UFC 144 Betting

Frankie Edgar will defend his lightweight championship on Sunday, February 26th from Saitama, Japan as he takes on Ben Henderson. UFC 144 betting odds are on the board at BetDSI Sportsbook for this event that because of the time difference will start on Saturday night in the U.S.

UFC 144 will be the first one in Japan since UFC 29. It should be an exciting card for the fans in Japan as Japanese fighters are involved in seven of the 12 bouts. Let’s look at the full card and take a closer look at the odds on two of the biggest fights.

    UFC 144 Main Card

    Frankie Edgar vs. Ben Henderson

    Quinton Jackson vs. Ryan Bader

    Cheick Kongo vs. Mark Hunt

    Jake Shields vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama

    Anthony Pettis vs. Joe Lauzon

    Hatsu Hioki vs. Bart Palaszewski

    Tim Boetsch vs. Yushin Okami

    UFC 144 Preliminary Card

    Eiji Mitsuoka vs. Takanori Gomi

    Vaughan Lee vs. Norifumi Yamaoto

    Steve Cantwell vs. Riki Fukuda

    Chris Cariaso vs. Takeya Mizugaki

    Issei Tamura vs. Zhang Tiequan

    Edgar -125 vs. Henderson

The main event in UFC 144 has Edgar slightly favored against Henderson in UFC 144 betting odds. This will be the fourth title defense for Edgar and he still isn’t getting a lot of respect from the oddsmakers. All he does is win and he has some advantages in this fight against Henderson including his speed and endurance. The advantage that Henderson has is on the ground as he is a better wrestler than Edgar. This fight will come down to Edgar’s takedown defense. If he keeps this fight off the mat for the most part he wins.

    Jackson -240 vs. Bader

The other big bout in UFC 144 has Quinton “Rampage” Jackson going up against Ryan Bader. Jackson is 32-9 in his career and 7-3 in the UFC while Bader is 13-2 and 6-2 in the UFC. Jackson is heavily favored in this fight, perhaps too much so. Jackson is on the downside of his career and Bader could be a live underdog in this fight.
