    Bellator Betting

Much of the attention in MMA betting on Saturday will be on UFC 139 but another good card is set for Saturday night with Bellator 58 taking place in Hollywood, Florida. The feature bout in Bellator 58 betting odds is the lightweight championship fight between Michael Chandler and Eddie Alvarez.

Saturday’s big fight in Bellator 58 will be shown live on MTV 2 along with two other feature bouts. Here is a look at those three fights.

    Alvarez -255 vs. Chandler

The battle for the Bellator lightweight championship has Alvarez heavily favored against Chandler. Alvarez comes into this fight with a record of 22-2 while Chandler is unbeaten at 8-0. It is somewhat surprising to see the Bellator 58 betting odds at the online sportsbook this high considering Chandler has never lost in his career. Chandler will try and win this fight on the ground as he is a former NCAA Division I All-American wrestling champion. Chandler has said that he is a far better wrestler than Alvarez and that Alvarez will not be able to stop his takedowns. Alvarez won the lightweight tournament in Bellator’s first card and defended his title back in April against Pat Curran. Chandler won the lightweight tournament in the fourth season.

    Trevor Prangley vs. Hector Lombard

This is a Catchweight feature fight between Prangley who has a record of 23-8-1 against Lombard who is 28-2-1. Lombard comes into this fight having won his last 19 bouts. Lombard may have a point to prove in this fight as some people have been wondering if Lombard is using steroids.

“Trust me, there is a lot of guys using and abusing [steroids],” he said. “I know I don’t take anything. That’s why I want to fight all the time. Most of the fighters don’t fight all the time because they’ll juice up for three or four months, clean up and fight. I’m fighting all the time, and when I fight in Australia, they do drug tests, too.”

    Raphael Dias vs. Marlon Sandro

The other televised feature fight has Dias with a record of 15-8 going against Sandro who is 19-2 in his career.

Last weekend in Bellator odds it was Douglas Lima beating Ben Saunders in the welterweight tournament while Alexander Shlemenko defeated Vitor Vianna in the middleweight tournament.
