    NHL Betting - Phoenix Coyotes

The late game on Thursday night in the NHL has the Phoenix Coyotes visiting the Los Angeles Kings. The game will include live betting at BetDSI Sportsbook. Let’s look at this contest and make our hockey picks.

    Coyotes Won’t Go Away

The Phoenix Coyotes are one of the most amazing stories in all of sports. The team is owned by the NHL and every year for the past three years there have been rumors that the team will be moved but nothing has happened. The players have been able to keep their focus and even without a ton of talent the Coyotes win games. The Coyotes one name player is Shane Doan and he is rumored to be on the trading block because he will be an unrestricted free agent after this season. Doan hasn’t let all of the talk bother him as he continues to lead the Coyotes to wins.

"Everyone says management has changed, the coaches have changed, the players have changed. But Keith Yandle has been here for [five] years. Martin Hanzal has been here for [five years].” Doan said, “And this is the organization that gave me the chance to play in the NHL. You want to reward them by winning at least one round of the playoffs."

Phoenix had their five game winning streak snapped on Monday but they still got a point in an overtime loss to Vancouver. They are currently in a playoff spot in the Western Conference and on paper it is amazing the job that general manager Don Maloney and head coach Dave Tippett have done with this team.

Coyotes 13-16 on the Road, Kings 15-15 at Home

The Coyotes have been competitive on the road in NHL betting as they are just three games under .500 while the Kings have been a disappointment at home with just a .500 record.

    Game Notes

The Kings have won six of the last ten meetings at home against Phoenix including 1-0 last month. The Kings have actually won the last four at home against the Coyotes.

    Hockey Picks

We are going against the trends here and taking the Coyotes to get the road win and we’ll also take the game under the total.
