KLM Open Golf Odds and Picks

  The European Tour gets the golf betting spotlight this week since the PGA Tour is off until next week’s BMW Championship. Three of the best golfers in the world (Rory McIlroy, Lee Westwood, and Martin Kaymer) are in this week’s KLM Open and as expected, they are the three favorites in golf odds at BetDSI sportsbook.

  The KLM Open at Hilversum in the Netherlands should be exciting with McIlroy, Westwood and Kaymer battling for the win. Kaymer is the defending champion but he is just the third choice in KLM Open golf odds behind McIlroy and Westwood. Kaymer could be a good pick this week as he is coming off a runner-up finish last week in Switzerland. Lee Westwood won on this course in 1999 but he has not played here for nine years.

  The course at Hilversum is full of trees and is more like a links course than anything else. Driving accuracy will be very important this week and greens in regulation is also another statistic that will be one to focus on.

  If you are looking for a price there are some interesting golfers to consider, especially since the top three are dominating the odds board. David Lynn won at Hilversum in 2004 and is in good form having finished in the top 10 last week. He has a ton of value at 50-1.

  An interesting longshot this week is Nicolas Colsaerts. He is coming back off a long layoff but is capable of playing well as he was third earlier this year at the Scottish Open and last year he led after the first round in this event. At 50-1 in golf betting odds at BetDSI, Colsaerts might be worth a shot.
