Golf Odds: The top choices to win the European Tour’s MTM Russian Open this week are Rikard Karlberg and Scott Jamieson. Golf Odds: It is not often that a European Tour event has a stronger field than a PGA Tour event but that is definitely the case this week. The Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open features Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose, Phil Mickelson and a number of other top players. Many players are taking the lead from Mickelson who used this event as preparation for the Open Championship which he won last season. 23 of the top 60 ranked players in the world are in the field. McIlroy said Mickelson is the reason for the strength of the field saying, “And Phil’s double has put it into many guys heads to do the same and for the Scottish Open to go back to a proper links is probably why the strength of this week’s field is great.”
