    Super Bowl XLVI Betting

Super Bowl XLVI between the New York Giants and New England Patriots is set to begin at 6:29 pm Eastern Time on Sunday with NBC televising the game. The Patriots are 3-point favorites in Super Bowl odds at BetDSI sportsbook. Let’s take a look at the game and make our Super Bowl XLVI predictions.

    Patriots -3, total 54

The Giants and Patriots met four years ago and it was New England who was a huge 12-point favorite as they tried to complete an undefeated season. The Giants pulled off one of the biggest upsets in Super Bowl history, winning 17-14. This time around the Patriots are just 3-point favorites and many people like the Giants to win the game.

New York Giants 12-7 SU, 11-7-1 ATS

The Giants went just 9-7 during the regular season but they played well in defeating Atlanta and Green Bay and then got some luck to get past San Francisco in the NFC title game. New York’s defense has gotten better in the playoffs and the Giants have one of the top quarterbacks in the league in Eli Manning.

New England Patriots 15-3 SU, 10-8 ATS

The Patriots had a great regular season at 13-3 as they won with an offense led by Tom Brady and two outstanding tight ends, Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez. In the regular season their defense was poor, but like the Giants, it has improved in the playoffs. The Patriots routed Denver in their first playoff game and then they were lucky to get past Baltimore in the AFC title game.

    Super Bowl XLVI Predictions

Most of the public and many experts believe that the Giants will win on Sunday. We are not among them. The Patriots had the better record during the season and despite what the Giants have done recently, Bill Belichick is a better coach and Tom Coughlin and he will have his team ready to play. And there are two intangibles in play for New England as they have revenge for the loss earlier this season to the Giants and they are playing for the late Myra Kraft. We’ll take the Patriots minus the 3-points and also go against the line move this week and play the over.
