Super Bowl XLVII Favorites
The Green Bay Packers are listed at 5-1 to win Super Bowl XLVII. The Packers were the best team during the regular season but they were beaten by the New York Giants in the playoffs. The Packers have league MVP Aaron Rodgers and they will be heavily bet next season. Right behind the Packers on the betting odds board are the New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints.
Super Bowl Contenders
In addition to the big three of Green Bay, New Orleans and New England, other teams listed at less than 20-1 in Super Bowl futures are the Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans, San Diego Chargers, San Francisco 49ers and the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants. Just outside those teams are the Dallas Cowboys, New York Jets, Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears.
Longshots
In the NFL we have seen a number of teams reach the Super Bowl that were not expected to make it. Even this past season when the New York Giants won it all, they were not among the favorites or even one of the main contenders. Next season there are a lot of teams that fit into the longshot category in Super Bowl futures. They are the Indianapolis Colts, Cincinnati Bengals, Buffalo Bills 50/1, Carolina Panthers, Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, Arizona Cardinals, Denver Broncos, Tennessee Titans, Oakland Raiders, Seattle Seahawks, St. Louis Rams, Minnesota Vikings, Washington Redskins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Big Longshots
