    NFL Betting - Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans and St. Louis Rams both won their first preseason game and now they will clash this Friday at Edward Jones Dome at 8 PM ET.

    NFL Betting Lines:

    Tennessee Titans +3

    St. Louis Rams -3

    O/U 36

    Titans Analysis

There isn’t a staring quarterback battle here as we all know Matt Hasselbeck will be the go to guy for the Titans but there are plenty of running backs trying to take advantage of the fact that Chris Johnson hasn’t shown up at camp. Javon Ringer, rookie Jamie Harper and Stafon Johnson will be vying for the starting position, after all they don’t know if CJ will be back soon, or even if he will be present at the start of the season against Jacksonville.

“All the opportunities I’m able to get with the ones feels like it’s helping me a lot,” Ringer said Wednesday. “Just helping me to be more comfortable out there with the offense and the offensive line and with Matt (Hasselbeck). It’s all beneficial. You can never get enough reps. I try to make the most of every opportunity I get.”

    Rams Analysis

St. Louis outplayed the Manning-less Colts in the first week and they’ll try to do the same against the Titans. The problem for the Rams is that the Titans backups’ can throw the ball, so don’t expect the same outcome this week.

Titans vs Rams Betting Pick: Both teams have a proven system they will be implementing during the regular season but the Rams offensive weapons will be too much to handle for the Titans’ backup secondary. Take the home team to win and to cover the spread.
