New England Patriots Super Bowl Betting

The New England Patriots will play in their fifth Super Bowl in the last eleven seasons on Sunday as they face the New York Giants. Unlike the Super Bowl four years ago when the Patriots were 12-point favorites, New England Patriots Super Bowl betting on Sunday has the Pats as a 3-point choice.

    Belichick and Brady

The New England Patriots will try and win their fourth Super Bowl title, all with Bill Belichick as head coach and Tom Brady at quarterback. There has never been a better coach-quarterback combination in NFL history. Belichick will be coaching in his fifth Super Bowl, one behind the all-time record of six held by Don Shula. Brady will tie former Denver quarterback John Elway with the most Super Bowl starts in history at five.

    Destiny Super Bowl Pick

If you want to simply forget all about the numbers and the trends then just take the Patriots with your Super Bowl pick. The Patriots are playing for Myra Kraft who died in July after a battle with cancer. She was the wife of owner Robert Kraft and a huge part of the Patriots family. The players dedicated this season to her and there is no question that a lot of things have fallen just right for New England. “We knew we had an angel smiling down on us,” Robert Kraft said. The Patriots have not won the Super Bowl in six seasons but destiny could be on their side this Sunday.

    Patriots Not Getting Respect

It seems that every time you turn on the TV or the radio you hear about how the Giants are going to win the Super Bowl. Pundits and so-called experts can’t understand why the Patriots are favored. Maybe the experts need to look at the numbers. New England finished the regular season at 13-3 while the Giants were 9-7. Some sportsbooks are dropping the Patriots to a 2.5 point favorite as more and more people bet the Giants. Since when does the public know anything when it comes to the NFL? The Patriots could be a very solid choice on Sunday in Super Bowl betting.
