Michigan State 10-3 SU, 9-4 ATS

The Spartans had the best record in the Big 10 in the regular season but they lost the Big Ten title game to Wisconsin so they have to settle for the Outback Bowl instead of the Rose Bowl. The Spartans haven’t done well in bowl games under head coach Mark Dantonio losing the previous three. In fact, Michigan State hasn’t won a bowl game at all since 2001, losing five straight. "We've done a lot of things that haven't been done in 40 years, 20 years, whatever. The one thing that has escaped us thus far is winning our bowl game," Dantonio said. "That's something that we've got to be able to rectify."

    Georgia 10-3 SU, 8-5 ATS

The Bulldogs are also coming off a loss in their title game although they weren’t given much of a chance against top-ranked LSU. Georgia has a potent offense that was third in the SEC this season averaging 413.8 yards per game.
