    Orange Bowl Betting

There should be a lot of points scored on Wednesday night as West Virginia takes on Clemson in the Orange Bowl. The Tigers are 3-point favorites in Orange Bowl picks at Diamond Sportsbook with the total listed at 61.

West Virginia comes into the game ranked 23rd in the country while Clemson is ranked 14th. Both teams come from weak conferences as the Big East really doesn’t deserve an automatic BCS bowl bid and it is questionable whether the ACC does either. Even though neither team is ranked in the Top 10, the game could be exciting as both teams have potent offenses. "I'd be surprised if there's not some points scored in this one," Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said. "I don't think it'll be a 6-3 ball game, you know, like maybe some of the other games around. This one should be an exciting game for fans." Both teams are averaging more than 33 points per game this season.

    Offensive Shootout

This year’s Clemson offense was the best in school history as they set records for passing yards, total yards and scoring. Tajh Boyd leads Clemson’s offense while Geno Smith leads West Virginia. The two combined to throw for 7,556 yards and 56 touchdowns this season. Smith broke West Virginia’s all-time record for passing yards this season. The difference in the game may be the talent surrounding Boyd. The Tigers have tight end Dwayne Allen, freshman receiver Sammy Watkins and running back Andre Ellington. Allen was the top tight end in the nation as he had 48 receptions for 577 yards and eight touchdowns.
