College Football Betting - Maaco Bowl Las Vegas

Maaco Bowl Las Vegas odds at Diamond Sportsbook have 7th-ranked Boise State heavily favored against Arizona State. The Broncos are laying two touchdowns in what could be a mismatch on Thursday in a game that will be shown on ESPN.

    Boise State -14, total 66.5

The Broncos would much rather be playing in a BCS bowl game but instead they are stuck playing in Las Vegas again against a poor Arizona State team. If Boise State is motivated then this game on Thursday will be a rout. The question is whether or not the Broncos will have incentive to win. College football fans are checking out BetDSI Twitter to keep up with the latest news and sports odds.

If Boise State had a kicker who could make field goals they would have had even more success than they have had already. Last season the Broncos missed a field goal against Nevada that cost them a chance at the national championship and this season they missed one against TCU that cost them a perfect season and a likely spot in the BCS title game against LSU.

    Kellen Moore

The Boise State quarterback has won more games in his career than any other player in NCAA history. Unfortunately for Moore, his kicker has missed a key field goal the past two years. Moore will close out his Boise State career on Thursday against Arizona State. Boise State head coach Chris Peterson said that this season has been the best of Moore’s career.

"This is his best year, without question," Petersen said, "He set the standard for quarterback play throughout the country for four years. He just hasn't flinched, but he's gotten better every year."

    Last Game for Erickson

Arizona State finished the season at 6-6 but that wasn’t enough to save head coach Dennis Erickson’s job. He was fired in November but is being allowed to coach the team in the bowl game. Pittsburgh coach Todd Graham will coach the Sun Devils next season.

    Mismatch

When you handicap a game you always try and make a case for the underdog in college football odds but on Thursday it is hard to make any case for Arizona State. They have a bad defense that is allowing 419.5 yards per game and a lame duck head coach. The only chance for Arizona State is if they get a fantastic game from quarterback Brock Osweiler and if Boise State is not motivated to win.
