CFL Betting - Winnipeg Blue Bombers

The Toronto Argonauts visit the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Saturday night at 7:00 pm Eastern while the Winnipeg Blue Bombers visit the British Columbia Lions at 10:00 pm Eastern. Both home teams are favored in CFL odds at BetDSI sportsbook.

    Hamilton -7.5, total 50

Not much has gone right this season for the Toronto Argonauts as they sit in last place in the East. The Argos have lost five in a row and are really struggling to score points. Cleo Lemon was back at quarterback last week but Toronto still couldn’t break out of their funk in a loss to Montreal. Lemon was 25-of-40 for 314 yards with two TD’s and an interception. The Toronto defense was gouged by Brandon Whitaker and Dahrran Diedrick. The Argos have been so bad on defense that they replaced defensive coordinator Chip Garber with secondary coach Orlondo Steinauer.

Hamilton blew a seven point halftime lead last week against Calgary as their offense went cold in the second half. The Tiger-Cats scored 20 points in the first half but did nothing in the second half and lost 32-20. Quarterback Kevin Glenn didn’t play that well as he went 20-of-34 passes for 211 yards with one TD and an interception.

Last year it was Hamilton winning all three meetings between the two teams and they lead the all-time series 120-86-2 against Toronto.

    British Columbia -1.5, total 49.5

The red-hot Winnipeg Blue Bombers try to get their sixth win of the season on Saturday night as the visit B.C. The oddsmakers are still not convinced as the Bombers are 1.5 point underdogs on the road against the 1-5 B.C. Lions. The Winnipeg defense has been excellent this season as they are allowing just 25.3 points per game.

Two weeks ago it was Winnipeg beat B.C. by a score of 25-20 at home.

The Blue Bombers lead the all-time series 82-71-2 against British Columbia.

Winnipeg has been very good of late on Saturday night’s going 7-2 ATS in their last 9 Saturday games. British Columbia has struggled at home lately with a record of 4-10 ATS in their last 14 home games. Looking at the total, the Under is 35-15-1 in the Blue Bombers last 51 road games and in this series, the Under is 6-0 vs. the CFL betting odds in the last 6 meetings in BC.
