It is down to four teams in the CFL playoffs with Hamilton at Winnipeg in the East Final while Edmonton visits British Columbia in the West Final. Here is a look at both of these games on Sunday and the CFL playoffs odds available at BetDSI Sportsbook.
Sunday, November 20th
East Final - Hamilton +3.5 at Winnipeg
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are favored at home in CFL odds in the East Final as they look to beat the Hamilton Tiger-Cats for the fourth time this season. They say it is never easy to beat a team three times in a season but in this case it will be the Blue Bombers trying to make it four times. Hamilton will have to avoid making mistakes if they are to have any chance in this game. Quarterbacks Quinton Porter and Kevin Glenn have averaged two interceptions per game in the regular season matchups with Winnipeg this season.
Winnipeg will be looking to Buck Pierce to lead them to the Grey Cup. He has fought injuries this season but is ready to go for Sunday’s East Final. His overall numbers haven’t been great as he has 14 touchdowns with 18 interceptions but the team is confident with him under center. “When we look at a guy like Buck, who's had the worst couple years I'd say a player's had as far as injuries go, to make it this far is a testimony to his work ethic and desire to play,” center Obby Khan said. “But we're not done yet. We really want to win it for him and the rest of us because he's our leader and our chief commander.”
West Final – Edmonton +6 at British Columbia
The B.C. Lions are favored at home on Sunday in CFL playoffs odds as they look to get past Edmonton. The Eskimos will have to win without starting running back Jerome Messam who was injured last week. He was a huge key for Edmonton as he rushed for over 1,000 yards this season. "An important piece of our team is gone, but that's the nature of football. Life goes on," said Eskimos head coach Kavis Reed. Edmonton will have to get a big game out of quarterback Ricky Ray if they are to win on Sunday. British Columbia won three of the four regular season meetings between the two teams.
