The biggest question that those analyzing the CFL betting odds should be asking right now is whether QB Cleo Lemon is going to be in the fold on Friday night for the Boatmen. Lemon was knocked around to the point that he literally split a tooth last week against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and he had to be replaced by QB Dalton Bell.

The offense was just never the same for the Double Blue for the rest of the game. Bell went 13-of-27 for 169 yards with a TD and two picks, but the majority of those yards came after the game was basically said and done with.

The Toronto defense, normally the unit that really carries the team, had an awful time trying to stop an injured Buck Pierce and the Winnipeg offense, especially if the second half when it allowed a whopping 27 points.

The Argos are going to need better than this against an Edmonton team that has quite frankly looked surprisingly unstoppable. The Eskies were supposed to be the biggest joke on the CFL Grey Cup odds this year, but all of a sudden, they are rounding into favorites, especially with the rest of the West so far in the dumps.

Last week in the Battle of Alberta against the Calgary Stampeders, it was the Edmonton defense which held down Calgary to just 19 points. Normally speaking, it has been the offense doing all of the damage. The green and gold had put up at least 400 yards in its previous three games, but this past week, two big plays basically made up the entire offense.

Fred Stamps has had an outrageous season for the Eskimos, but last week was his biggest impact on the CFL wagering odds. He had five catches for 161 yards and two scores, and his TD catches of 55 and 65 yards accounted for over a third of the offense for the entire game for Edmonton.

Last season, the home teams were awful in this series, going 0-2 SU and ATS. Edmonton has three SU wins in the last four games against the Boatmen.

CFL Odds Picks - Toronto has dropped three straight SU and ATS. Edmonton has won four straight SU and ATS. We'll ride the hot hands of the Eskimos even though we have to win by double digits to get the job done on Friday night.
