Portland Home Cooking
The Blazers went into Tuesday’s home game against Washington with a record of 11-3 straight up at home and 10-3-1 ATS. The problem for the Blazers has been on the road where they have struggled all season.
Portland head coach Nate McMillan said recently that he is not happy with his team’s inconsistent play. One of the main concerns is point guard where Raymond Felton is not getting the job done. “I’ve got to look at that,’’ McMillan said, “But I have to look at our group in general. I don’t know. I have to look at all of our guys.’’ Other than LaMarcus Aldridge, who is playing at an All-Star level, no one else has been consistent for Portland.
“The first 20-something games, I gave guys the benefit of the doubt about shape, conditioning, adjusting,’’ McMillan said. “But we should be there now. We shouldn’t be ... the play must be better.’’
Back-to-Back-to-Back for Portland
The Blazers were home against Washington on Tuesday and at Golden State on Wednesday. Every team in the NBA has to play three games in three nights at least once and this is one of the easiest ones for any team as the Blazers don’t travel far and get two of the three at home.

This game will include live betting at BetDSI Sportsbook. The Clippers are now a high profile squad and Portland is always fun to watch at home so this should be a great matchup for live betting. Check out the BetDSI Blog for the full schedule of live betting.
Game Trends & Basketball Picks
Portland has won 8 of the last 10 against the Clippers and they are 6-4 against the NBA odds at the sportsbook. The Blazers have also won the last six in Portland against the Clippers and they are 5-1 ATS in those games. Four of the last five have gone over the total. The Blazers should win this game but the three games in three nights is a concern so we’ll avoid a side and just take the game over the total.
