Rusty Wildcats?
Villanova has had a really weird schedule as they have had just two games in the last 17 days. Normally at this time of the year teams are playing every few days but the Big East scheduled Villanova with some unexpected days off. "It's a little crazy," Villanova coach Jay Wright said. "At least we're getting in some quality practice time." Villanova needs the extra practice time as they are a young team that is not going to make the NCAA Tournament. They have also been a poor team against the spread this season at 6-15 ATS.
South Florida 7-2 ATS at Home
South Florida is probably going to make the NCAA Tournament. They have done much of their work at home and bettors have noticed. The Bulls are 7-2 ATS on their home court this season. They are 8-4 in the Big East this season and a winning record in a tough conference like the Big East should be enough to get them into the big dance.
Game Notes
Villanova has won five of the last seven in this series against South Florida. In the only three meetings at South Florida, the Wildcats have won all three games with two of the three going over the total.
NCAA Basketball Predictions
