West Virginia No Bargain on the Road
The Mountaineers have been very good at home but on the road they have a losing record both straight up and against the spread. The Mountaineers are well coached and they have a very good player in Kevin Jones. They are one of those teams that can win a couple of games in the NCAA Tournament and then get bounced out.
Notre Dame Making a Big Run
Is there any team in college basketball that has made a better run in the last month than Notre Dame? This team was given up for dead but they have gotten hot and with a couple more wins they can probably punch their ticket to the big dance. Another win over West Virginia would be huge as it would give Notre Dame the season sweep. Notre Dame has been solid at home this season against the spread even though they have not been blowing teams out.
Game Notes
The Mountaineers and Fighting Irish have split their last ten meetings. Notre Dame won earlier this month in Morgantown by a score of 55-51 in a tight, hard fought contest. That type of game could occur again as Notre Dame is going under the total on a regular basis this season. West Virginia almost never wins in South Bend as they are 1-11 in their last 12 games at Notre Dame. The last five meetings have all gone under the NCAA basketball odds.
College Basketball Parlay
This one looks like a good parlay with Notre Dame and the under. The Irish have been good at home and neither one of these two teams is scoring many points. We’ll look to sweep this one with the Irish and under.
