    March Madness Odds

We are just about a month away from March Madness odds being on the board for the NCAA Tournament. Every game is now very important as teams are playing their way into the big dance and out of it. Let’s look at this week’s bubble watch which includes teams likely in and out of the tourney.

ACC – There is not much change this week as Duke and North Carolina are going to make the NCAA Tournament along with Florida State and Virginia. NC State is still on the bubble along with Miami.

Big 12 – The top three of Missouri, Kansas and Baylor are unchanged as they are all in. Kansas State and Iowa State have been joined on the bubble by Texas.

Big East – The top five of Syracuse, Georgetown, Marquette, Louisville and West Virginia look safe although the Mountaineers still have work to do. Connecticut is now officially on the bubble along with Notre Dame, Cincinnati, South Florida, Pittsburgh and Seton Hall. All five of those teams on the bubble probably won’t make it and perhaps only two of the five get in.

Big 10 – Ohio State and Michigan State are locks and it is very likely that Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin are in. Illinois is on the bubble along with Purdue, Minnesota and even Northwestern.

Pac-12 – Nothing has really changed from last week when we said that this conference is weak. There may only be one Pac-12 team that gets in but if the NCAA selection committee is generous then perhaps Washington, California and Arizona are in the mix.

SEC – The SEC has Kentucky and Florida but they are also deeper than some other conferences as Vanderbilt and Mississippi State should also get in. Not to be forgotten are Alabama, Arkansas and even Mississippi.

Atlantic 10 – This is a very good conference that could easily get four or five teams. Temple is in and Saint Louis and Dayton will probably also make it. On the bubble are Xavier and St. Joseph’s.

Mountain West – This conference has two Top 20 teams in San Diego State and UNLV that are in and perhaps New Mexico, Wyoming and Colorado State on the bubble.

Missouri Valley – Nothing has changed here in March Madness odds as Creighton and Wichita State are in with no one else threatening.

Conference USA – It is now looking more and more likely that both Southern Miss and Memphis will make it from this conference.

West Coast – Same as usual here although this year it is Saint Mary’s the better team but Gonzaga should also get in. Maybe BYU has played their way on to the bubble.

Others – The only two locks look to be Murray State and Harvard if they don’t win their conferences. Keep current with more sports betting news by following BetDSI on Twitter.
