The Kansas Jayhawks are favored on the road on Wednesday night as they visit Texas A&M in a game that can be seen on ESPN 2. The Jayhawks have owned the series against A&M recently, winning 9 of the last 10 meetings. You can make basketball predictions on this game at BetDSI Sportsbook.
Kansas is ranked in the Top 20 and one of the contenders to win the NCAA title this season. The Jayhawks have some talented players like Thomas Robinson who leads the team in scoring and they have proven they can win on the road as they have a winning record both straight up and against the spread in road games this season.
No Offense for A&M
The Aggies are going nowhere except maybe to the NIT or some other meaningless tournament and the main reason why is that they can’t score. Texas A&M is 286th in the country in total points. That is about as bad as it gets in college hoops. A&M can play defense as they are 29th in the country but you can only win so many games 60-59.
Kansas-A&M Trends
The Jayhawks have won 9 of the last 10 in this series but they are just 4-6 ATS. The interesting part about this series for bettors is that Kansas is better against the spread on the road than at home. Kansas has won all seven road games against A&M and they are 5-2 ATS. Four of the last five meetings at A&M have also gone under the total.
Basketball Predictions
The Jayhawks have owned this series and there is no reason to think they won’t win on Wednesday night. A&M can play defense but unless Kansas totally gives this game away or looks ahead to this weekend’s game against Missouri, the Jayhawks should win and cover. This also looks like it should be a very low scoring game and Kansas has been going under in almost every road game this season so we’ll also take the game under the total.
