    College Basketball Betting - Baylor

A close game is expected on Monday night in the Big 12 as Baylor visits Texas. The Big 12 basketball odds at the offshore sportsbook are almost a pick in this game that will be televised by ESPN.

    Live Betting

This matchup is part of Big Monday on ESPN and it will include live in-game betting at our sportsbook. These two teams played a close game a few weeks ago in Waco and it figures to be another tight game on Monday.

Bears Winning but Not Always Covering

Baylor is ranked in the Top 20 and is a team that is going to make the NCAA Tournament but they have not always been kind to bettors. The Bears have a gaudy straight up record but they are nothing special against the Big 12 basketball odds. Baylor doesn’t even have a winning record ATS on the road. If you look at their stats it is somewhat surprising the Bears are so highly ranked. Baylor doesn’t play great defense and while their offense is good, it is not great.

    Texas Also a Money Burner

The Longhorns have been just as bad as the Bears when it comes to covering the spread. In fact, Texas is worse when you consider many of their pointspread losses have come at home. The Longhorns will probably make the NCAA Tournament but they are not a title contender. They are simply too young to make an impact and the only player who can do damage is leading scorer J’Covan Brown.

    Series Trends

The Bears and Longhorns have split their last ten games both straight up and against the spread. Baylor has lost 8 of the last 10 at Texas but they are 7-3 ATS. These two teams met about a month ago in Waco and it was the Bears winning 76-71 although they did not cover the 7-point spread.

    NCAA Basketball Pick

Neither of these teams is very good against the pointspread but Texas at home has just been awful. We’ll go with the Bears to get the win on Monday night on the road.
