    Baseball Player Props

Diamond sportsbook has added more baseball player props that you can wager on right now. The 2012 MLB regular season is just over a month away so now is the time to make the wagers. Let’s look at the latest props on the board and see if we can find some winners.

    Baseball Player Props

Prince Fielder Total Home Runs – 34.5

We looked at this prop earlier and really like the under.

Prince Fielder Total RBIs – 110.5

We also took the under on this number as well.

Most Home Runs – Albert Pujols -2.5 vs. Prince Fielder

We made it a sweep against Fielder and took Pujols in this prop.

Most Home Runs by any Player in 2012 – 41.5 (over -150)

You almost have to like the over on this prop. Pujols could have a monster season and Jose Bautista seems to clear this number every year.

Most RBIs by any Player – 124.5 (over -140)

We like this one over as well. Last year Matt Kemp was the only player to clear this number but two years ago there were three players who went over.

Most Hits by any Player – 212.5

This is a good number by the oddsmakers so we’ll pass as two players last year led the league with 213 hits.

Most Stolen Bases by any Player – 59.5

We’ll take the over again as it seems like every year at least one player clears 60 stolen bases. Three years ago a total of three players had 60 or more stolen bases and in each of the last two years the stolen base leader had at least 60.

Most Wins by any Pitcher in 2012 – 21.5 (over -130)

We are going to take a shot with the under on this one. Last year the only player to clear this number was Justin Verlander who had 24 wins. In 2010 no pitcher won 22 games and in 2009 no pitcher even won 20 games.

Most Losses by any Pitcher – 15.5 (over -155)

We like the over here as in the last three years the Major League leader had at least 17 losses.

Most Saves by any Pitcher – 46.5 (over -140)

We sound like a broken record but again, we like the over. In each of the past three seasons the Major League save leader has cleared this number.

Most Strikeouts by any Pitcher (249.5)

This is the toughest number on the board as it is hard to know what to expect. Last year Verlander landed almost right on this number to lead the league with 250 strikeouts. Two years ago the league leader had 233 strikeouts but three years ago the league leader had 269 strikeouts. We’ll pass on this one.
